Datdrop review
Datdrop is built around case battles and has more battle formats than any site we've tested. This review explains the formats, the fairness check, withdrawals, the promo code and US availability.
Battle players who want team, group and crazy modes
- More battle formats than any other site
- Odds per item, seeds public
- Withdrawals in under an hour
- Solo case opening is average
- Promo value lower than the top three
Is Datdrop legit?
Odds are published per item, rolls are provably fair, and withdrawals go out as Steam trades; our timed withdrawal test is pending.
Battle formats
| Format | How it works |
|---|---|
| 1v1 | Two players, same cases, highest total wins |
| 2v2 | Teams of two, team totals compared |
| 3- and 4-player | Free-for-all, winner takes all |
| Team modes | Larger teams share the pot |
| Crazy mode | Lowest unboxed value wins |
Crazy mode flips the usual incentive and is popular for that reason. Battles carry the edge of the cases inside them, so the format changes variance, not expected loss.
Withdrawals and promo code
Skin trade offers; our timed withdrawal test is pending. The promo code adds a bonus on the first deposit, with clear but less generous terms than CSGORoll or Clash.gg: promo codes page.
Datdrop in the US
US availability depends on the site's current terms: check its restricted-regions list before signing up, and do not use a VPN to get around a block. 18+.

Getting started on Datdrop
On Datdrop, try a cheap 1v1 battle before the team or crazy modes, so you see how case values add up across a battle. Our withdrawal guide covers the Steam settings you need.
Tips before you deposit
Remember that battles carry the edge of the cases inside them; the format changes how wins are shared, not the expected loss. No US state licenses skin gambling, so keep only what you are actively playing with on the site.
Alternatives to Datdrop

Datdrop is a battle site first: 1v1, 2v2, three- and four-player battles, team modes and crazy mode, where the lowest total wins. Cases are available for solo opening but aren't the focus.
Deposits and withdrawals
Withdrawals are bot trade offers. Deposits take skins, cards and crypto.
Datdrop promo code explained
The code adds a first-deposit bonus with clear terms; it's less generous than the leaders' offers. Current codes and their terms are on our promo codes page.

Who Datdrop is for
Good fit: Battle players who want the most formats. Look elsewhere if: Solo case openers.
Our take on Datdrop
Datdrop is for battle players. If you open cases alone, the larger case sites offer more choice; if battles are your focus, Datdrop's formats are the reason to be there.
Responsible play on Datdrop
Set a budget before you deposit, open free cases first, and stop when the budget is spent. Skin gambling is unregulated in the US, so there's no state self-exclusion scheme; use the site's own limits if offered, and 1-800-GAMBLER if gambling stops being fun.
What a Datdrop withdrawal actually is
Datdrop pays out in skins only, and the mechanism matters: you spend your inventory value buying items through the Waxpeer marketplace, rather than receiving the exact skins shown in your Datdrop inventory. Check Waxpeer's current prices for the items you want before you withdraw, since that is the value you actually receive. Deposits are taken in crypto, CS2 skins and gift cards, and the site documents a provably fair scheme for case results. Checked on 31 October 2026 against independent reviews of the site's own terms; terms change, so confirm in the site's terms before depositing.
Where Datdrop fits in our ranking
Datdrop sits at #9 of 15 in our CS2 gambling sites ranking, with a rating of 4.3/5 and our “best for case battles” badge. We haven't confirmed a current welcome offer, so check the site's promotions page before depositing. For a direct comparison, Skin.Club ranks one place higher and CSGOFast one place lower; read both reviews if you're choosing between neighbouring sites.
