VALORANT Champions Shanghai is almost finished, and as this year’s meta settles in, new patches are coming. With every big seasonal shift, the map pool switches up, and we’re due for another change. Leakers say they have an idea of which locations are coming back for November: let’s recap.

Leaker Says Corrode and Bind are Coming in

VALORANT’s last major update, on September 22, 2026, brought a brand-new weapon into the game. Two weeks later, fans are gearing up for another version release.

As always, the patch will affect VALORANT Ranked. This one is supposed to be extra significant, since the map pool is changing. Two iconic locations are returning: one is a fan favorite from the game’s launch, and another is a more controversial recent release. Players’ skills will be tested in new scenarios.

Multiple reputable leak sources, including @RocketBullets and @valohabercisi, claim Corrode and Bind will return to VALORANT in the next map rotation. This means they would be back in the game throughout late October and November 2026.

Corrode in VALORANT 2026

Corrode is famous for its extremely large map size and long-range mid angles. Rotates take an insanely long time on this map, so get ready to start running knife out.

Bind in VALORANT 2026

Bind is one of VALORANT’s oldest maps. It’s probably the most close-range of them all, with smaller sites and closed-in shotgun angles.

Split and Ascent are Leaving the Map Pool

To make room for Corrode and Bind, Split and Ascent are reportedly exiting rotation. This means they will no longer appear in Ranked. Players can still access them in every other game mode, though.

Split has dominated competitive play for a while, and we’ve seen it pop up in Champions Shanghai 2026 matches. The map is famous for its flank corridors and high-low angles.

Meanwhile, Ascent has almost never been out of the VALORANT rotation. When it leaves the Ranked pool, it’ll significantly shake things up.

VALORANT V26 Act 6 Map Pool

If the leaks are true, the new Ranked map pool will be:

  • Abyss
  • Bind
  • Corrode
  • Haven
  • Lotus
  • Sunset
  • Summit

When is the VALORANT Map Pool Changing?

Riot Games has not announced an official patch date yet, but leakers say the VALORANT map pool is rotating with V26 Act 6. Usually, this would place the change sometime around Tuesday, October 13, 2026. However, VALORANT tends to keep the patch the same for Champions, which isn’t over until October 18, 2026.

Keep an eye out for new information in VALORANT’s patch notes, as developers will likely confirm the map pool in the next few days.
