Gabby DeSena serves as EsportNow's Content Lead. She is an FPS game enthusiast and content writer with expertise in VALORANT, Counter-Strike, and other titles. Her work focuses on the competitive esports scene and the overall gaming industry, and she previously contributed to Esports on SI.
Gabby has played video games from childhood (she has fond memories of old-school Zoo Tycoon and Minecraft), but fell in love with the competitive world after discovering VALORANT. She played on a collegiate esports team for several years, later transitioning into an administrative role for the same program. This experience sparked her fascination with the industry and helped grow an appreciation for the players, practice, and promotional world behind the scenes of each tournament. Gabby holds a Bachelor's degree in Marketing and is currently finishing an MFA in Creative Nonfiction.
