Turkish org Eternal Fire has joined this week’s string of roster changes, and the team has just signed rifler br0 from NRG. Let’s explore everything to know about the move.
On July 5, 2026, Turkish esports organization Eternal Fire announced it had signed Alexander “br0” Bro to its core Counter-Strike roster. Bro, a Danish Rifler with nine years of competitive experience, previously played for Astralis and NRG.

During his time with NRG, br0 participated in three Majors. However, the organization shifted him to its bench in late June 2026, encouraging interested parties to reach out. br0 spoke of his time there fondly, saying, “Thanks to everyone in NRG and for the moments we shared. This journey has been full of valuable experience – going through very exciting times and also tough times.” It seems the team was instrumental in facilitating his move to Eternal Fire, as br0’s new organization also gave a “Special thanks to [NRG] for their support throughout the transfer process.”

Eternal Fire, which arrived in the CS scene in 2021, has been instrumental in advancing Turkish Counter-Strike. The org gained particular repute for its ‘Turkish Six’ roster from 2021-2025. The lineup included big names like XANTARES, woxic, and MAJ3R.

In 2025, Aurora Gaming purchased this core group. A year later, Aurora, too, is making significant internal changes. The team released Fabre, benched soulfly, and announced MAJ3R‘s retirement all within a week. Now, the org seems to be building a super-team, as they signed MOUZ star Jimpphat and hired a new coach, ash. However, as Aurora Gaming shifts to an international identity, it has faced some criticism from fans, who see the org as a Turkish home team.
br0 has some big shoes to fill. That said, the Eternal Fire fanbase seems to be taking the move much better, and there is excitement in the community. Netizen @Heatherieeee says, “I love this, now give these guys time to cook. I think they’ll be great!!” Another commentator, @teamnortus, begs Eternal Fire to “now please stop making changes every 3 months, give this lineup a chance cuz this is actually decent.”
