Rumors of a new VALORANT Agent have floated around for several months now, alongside mysterious blurry pictures. Now, as Champions 2026 continues on in Shanghai, new images are finally here. Let’s take a look.
VALORANT New Agent Pictures Are Here
On October 2, VALORANT leakers started spreading blurry images of what reportedly is the new VALORANT Agent. Just a week later, new sources show those images appear legitimate. There are now official graphics from Riot depicting the new character.
The leaks seem to stem from VALORANT China, which often receives new drops before other regions. In a promotional poster from Champions Shanghai, text reads: “Discover the secrets of the new Valorant agents. Take part in interactive scenarios, limited-edition themed dishes, and get the chance to win new agent-themed merchandise!”
VALORANT is hosting a limited-time pop-up tea restaurant to celebrate the next Agent’s launch. With this new information, netizens can confirm that the next VALORANT Agent is a woman.
The new Agent has a sleek, form-fitting dress with leggings. She wears sneakers and has long, straight blonde hair with bangs. Her eyes are a bright pink/purple. Though not confirmed, other sources claim she is inspired by the cyberpunk aesthetic.
Cyberpunk has been a huge trend lately, especially since the second Cyberpunk: Edgerunners season is launching. We’ve already seen themed collabs in Overwatch, Fortnite, and other games. Some netizens are noting how similar the new VALORANT Agent looks to Overwatch’s recent hero, Shion.
How Many VALORANT Agents Are There?
Right now, VALORANT has 29 Agents. Once the new Agent teased in Champions Shanghai drops, there will be 30.
Each Agent has a code number, but Agent 08 has always been missing from the game. This means the next Agent will probably be Agent 31.
Is the New VALORANT Agent a Duelist?
Yes, the new VALORANT Agent is reportedly a Duelist. This means her main role will be pushing into sites, taking aggressive fights, and making risky plays for her team.
When is the New VALORANT Agent Release Date?
We don’t have a confirmed date from Riot yet on when the new VALORANT Agent is releasing in the game. However, the new Agent will reportedly be revealed sometime during the week of October 12th.
We’ll probably get an official reveal sometime during the Champions Shanghai Finals. In the past, VALORANT has revealed new Agents through showmatches and after Grand Finals conclude. Stay tuned for updates as Riot reveals more information.
