VALORANT Mobile just got a ton of fresh updates, and leaks are popping up all over the internet. PC players are green with envy. Flash training, smoke presets, and new ranked rewards have all been revealed within a week, and the community is itching for some of these features to expand to other platforms. Here’s everything to know.
Shortly after VALORANT’s PC version got a ton of updates in Patch 13.02, VALORANT Mobile answered with multiple feature drops. Players quickly noticed that flash training had joined the game’s Range. The mode lets players practice playing anti-flash against bots at all difficulty levels.
bro can pc valorant get ANYTHING ???

Users stand in an open space without flash cover. The map will automatically spawn a non-dodgable flash in at some intervals. If players turn away from it at the right moment, they can reduce their blindness time. The mode improves your reaction speed, and it also polishes up your flick aim since you’ll have to do a 180-degree turn to land back on the target.
Controller is a notoriously difficult role in VALORANT. These Agents spend a significant amount of time placing smokes and lurking, leaving them out of the game and away from teammates. It’s common for an entire team to select other options and lock in, leaving the last poor soul to fill as Omen, Clove, or another pick.
A new VALORANT Mobile feature makes things a lot easier: players can preset smokes on the map, just tapping to deploy them at a specific time.
The system lets users specify specific smoke locations for each map and each Agent. It’s a lot like the Agent Profiles PC users can have for their keybinds. Plus, the smokes will automatically appear wherever you want them, and you won’t have to spend any time precisely moving them around. This makes pushes (and site defenses) much faster.
VALORANT’s Flex cosmetics let players pull out an item mid-game and spin it around on their screen. PC players have had fun with this style, pretending to text on phones and blow airhorns.
The mobile version has taken Flex cosmetics to another level: it now includes a Flex for each tier of Ranked Reward. The designs are bright silver and diamond-shaped. They have the player’s rank logo on them. For example, an Immortal player would have an Immortal Flex.
WHAT DO YOU MEAN VALORANT MOBILE IN CHINA GOT NEW RANKED REWARDS BEFORE US?!?!
— Valorant Updates (@ValorantUpdated) August 5, 2026
PC VALORANT doesn’t have any of these items yet. The main Ranked reward is a gun buddy, which players can equip on their weapons. However, netizens note that the drops haven’t been updated for a while, and the Flex rewards look a lot more polished. There’s not a lot of motivation for PC players to lock in and grind comp. This is a feature the community really wants to see added to the main platform.
The VALORANT PC community is getting a little jealous of the mobile version’s feature. One user said, “Can someone explain to me why VALORANT Mobile is so much better than PC?” Another asked, “Can PC VALORANT get ANYTHING?”

Netizens note that many of these changes, especially the smoke preset feature and flash training in the range, significantly improve in-game quality of life. They are also rolling out at record speed, with frequent updates that keep the mobile player base locked in.
It’s important to note that VALORANT Mobile is a collaboration with TenCent’s LightSpeed Studios. This means multiple development teams are working on the game at once, adding a bit of extra firepower. New cosmetics, patches, and features are indeed arriving at light speed.
As of right now, VALORANT Mobile is only available in China. It released in August 2025. Riot has plans to expand the app to other locations in the future, but this will likely take several years. It’s possible to download the Chinese version on Android or iOS.
Riot Games has made it clear in the past that VALORANT Mobile will have some exclusive features. The game was not designed to be identical to VALORANT on PC. Because the platform’s mechanics are so different, they need seperate controls and Agent balances. Something like smoke presets, which removes a significant physical mechanic from the game, might not translate well to PC. However, if there’s enough demand for it, a flash training Range option could easily come to VALORANT’s OG version.
VALORANT Mobile’s exclusive cosmetics also serve a key function. They keep the game’s player base healthy, motivating users to come back and test out new content. If skins were the same on PC and Mobile, it would be harder to diversify the communities.
