It’s been a while since a fresh weapon came to the shop, but VALORANT leaks are now claiming a new weapon is joining the game. The new VALORANT gun is reportedly called ‘the Warden’, and it’s competitive with the Vandal and Phantom. Here’s everything we know so far.
On September 13, 2026, some of the most interesting VALORANT news in a while began popping up on the internet. According to new VALORANT leaks, the game is adding a new gun to the game. It’s reportedly a rifle called the Warden.
The VALORANT weapon leaks stem from the VALORANT Info telegram group, which brings together leakers and dataminers. @kohteihep and @valohabercisi began spreading the news on X.com. They include a supposed image of the gun, seen below:

It’s important to note that Riot Games has not confirmed this yet. However, multiple reputable accounts have supported the leaks’ legitimacy.
Let’s get down to business. Alongside pictures, the leakers reportedly revealed a ton of weapon specifics about the Warden. It has a scope, so you can target enemies at range. It’s also a full-auto weapon.
Leakers caution that they don’t know the Warden’s release date in VALORANT yet. It’s very possible that it could be a few months to a year before we see the gun in the game, especially since new VALORANT leaks usually include a release estimate in the near future.
That said, we can’t rule out the possibility that Riot could save the Warden for a surprise release if the leaks are legit. @valohabercisi on X.com claims it will also drop alongside new VALORANT skins, the Galleria 2.0 bundle.
We also know that Riot Games likes to make big reveals during important events in the VCT season. VALORANT Champions is coming soon. At previous international esports events, we’ve seen announcements for new Agents, new maps, and more updates.
According to leakers, the Warden costs 2,900 in-game credits. This means it has a similar price range to the Phantom and Vandal, the game’s two most competitive Rifle options. It’ll probably become a popular pick, since so few high-tier Rifles exist in the pool and it doesn’t outprice other offerings.
