Team Secret is shaking up its VALORANT roster just weeks before VCT Pacific Stage 2 kicks off. The Philippine organization has reportedly reached agreements with two new players and a new head coach, aiming to turn around a rocky 2026 campaign. Here’s everything to know about the move.

Team Secret Announces New VALORANT Members: STYRON, natZ, and Spin

On July 15, 2026, Team Secret announced it would add three new players to its VALORANT core roster. They include:

  • Peter “Spin” Bradford, who will serve as Head Coach
  • Jonathan “naTz” Adiputra
  • Tidus “STYRON” Goh

Spin most recently represented Motiv Esports, a VALORANT Challengers League (VCL) team. He will replace Jose “Rbtx” Jamir, who departed Team Secret in late June following the org’s poor performance in VCT Pacific.

Meanwhile, naTz has experience on rival Pacific org Rex Regum Qeon. Originally, he played for the org’s Academy roster before it promoted him to the main string. STYRON arrives from Bilibili Gaming‘s Academy team. VALORANT esports veterans may also recognize him from his time on Disguised, content creator DisguisedToast’s former lineup.

What Does This Mean for VALORANT Esports?

Team Secret has seen struggles in 2026. Jessie Christy “JessieVash” Kujko returned to the IGL role in January despite stepping away from competitive play in mid-2025, but the comeback didn’t deliver the results the team needed. Most importantly, TS failed to perform at their best during VCT Pacific’s Kickoff and Stage 1.

A string of losses to Nongshim RedForce, DetonatioN FocusMe, and ZETA DIVISION sent Secret out of Kickoff early, with the team finishing in 11th/12th. The organization attempted to make some more shake-ups to reset its trajectory: TenTen departed, while Zeus and Rimaru stepped in to fill the gap. However, Pacific Stage 1 showed similar results. Team Secret did not progress past the Group Stage, finishing 9th/10th. The Esports World Cup Qualifiers continued this trend with an identical finish.

Rimuru and JessieVash have now both left the organization. STYRON will likely step into its IGL role instead, which has the potential to significantly impact the team’s performance.

It seems Team Secret is hoping that fresh faces and a new coaching voice can fix the inconsistency that marred the start of its VCT 2026 season. Whether the roster finds its stride in time for VCT Pacific Stage 2 remains to be seen, but the pressure is on. VCT Pacific Stage 2 will decide which teams qualify for VALORANT Champions 2026, the most important tournament of the year. TS’s performance will carry hefty implications for how it ends the season. New map Summit and Patch 13.01, which shakes up the viable Duelist pool, are also shaping upcoming tournaments.
