VALORANT’s competitive timeline is heating up, and we have a few more regional finals to get through before Champions Shanghai starts. The VCT Americas Stage 2 Finals will solidify the region’s standings as the season reaches its peak. Let’s recap everything fans should know.

Prize Pool

This event has a 250,000 USD total prize pool, particularly sizable compared to other VALORANT tournaments. The VCT divides the sum between each winner, with higher placements earning a bigger share. 1st place takes home 100,000 USD, and second scores 65,000 USD.

Location

São Paulo, Brazil is the place to be for the final few VCT Americas games of 2026. The Stage 2 Finals take place in the city’s Suhai Music Hall, a concert venue located next to the Rio Grande.

Notably, this is the first time in VCT history that the VCT Americas Finals will appear outside Los Angeles. The celebration will also include “plenty of activities for fans. Fan activities include the OVERRIDE Showmatch with some of the biggest names in our community, activations, Meet & Greets, exclusive merch, an opening show, and much more.”

VCT Americas Stage 2 has a theme song, Faz o Mundo Ouvir by Rincon Sapiência and Priscilla Alcântara. The duo will perform it live before the Grand Final.

Format

The VCT Americas Stage 2 Finals weekend will begin with the Lower Bracket Semifinals between G2 Esports and LOUD. The winner here will progress to the Lower Bracket Finals, while the loser faces elimination. Next, the Upper Bracket Final between 100 Thieves and NRG will determine which team ends up in the Grand Final. All of these are Bo3 matches. The Grand Final, however, is a longer Bo5. This one is for all the marbles, and the winner takes home a VCT Americas trophy. Both Grand Finalists will also qualify to Champions Shanghai 2026. NRG and G2 have already qualified.
