Leviatán and Paper Rex are facing off in the VALORANT Masters London Grand Finals. What can the community expect from LEV vs PRX, and how can fans watch?

LEV Reach VALORANT Masters London Grand Finals

Argentinian org Leviatán has been active in the VALORANT scene from the start. With a VAL roster founded in 2020, they have competed in two Champions tournaments and two previous Masters events. The team’s roster currently includes kiNgg, Sato, blowz, Neon, and spikeziN, and it was previously home to big names like C0M, tex, Demon1, aspas and Mazino.

LEV has always had some strong moments. However, the team has struggled with cohesion and consistency: often, they would optimize strategies for individual players to carry, but neglect the team’s overall performance and fumble when it came time to play together. We saw this last year with Demon1, who is widely considered one of the strongest Duelists and VALORANT players of all time, but could not solo-carry the team to victory. The 2024 roster experienced this to a lesser extent, with aspas making a name for himself in the same Duelist role. C0M has since moved on to Evil Geniuses, tex to MIBR, and Mazino to MIBR as well, making kiNgg the last remaining player with Champs experience.

This year, something has changed. LEV is absolutely sweeping the competition, losing only one lower bracket match in the Masters London Playoffs. Fans can see a fresh polish and coordination in their gameplay. After crushing Team Heretics, XLG Esports, and Team Vitality, LEV has just handed a 3-0 defeat to EDward Gaming in the Masters London lower bracket finals. This means they will progress to the coveted Grand Finals match, occurring tomorrow on June 21, 2026.

First Time as VCT International Finalists

LEV’s roster has made history for the team with this win. It’s their first-ever place in the Grand Finals of an international VCT tournament. In addition, LEV is one of the youngest VCT finalist rosters ever: though kiNgg is 24, the rest of the team are all 18 or 19.

What exactly caused this sudden resurgence? Well, major roster reshuffles in 2025 certainly played a part. LEV lost some of their most popular players: veteran pros like C0M, Demon1, and tex have massive fanbases and a strong resume in the community. After this, many orgs could have faltered. However, LEV seems to have taken this as an opportunity to invest in young and upcoming players, and it’s paying off.

It’s interesting to note that blowz and Neon were both on LEV’s Academy team before transitioning to the main rosters. Academy teams typically serve as training for esports up-and-comers. They may compete in smaller tournaments or even scrimmage against the org’s main string. Neon and blowz’ time together could have contributed to a stronger team chemistry, as they were likely trained in the same style and know how to play off each other.

Meanwhile, kiNgg brings the experience these younger players need as IGL. LEV is combining tried-and-true Champs experience with fresh faces who are blank canvases for a more cohesive playstyle. spikeziN and Neon were particularly impressive in EDG vs LEV, as they both dropped high K/Ds on the decider map, Lotus, and kept up with kiNgg.

What Can We Expect from LEV vs PRX?

LEV vs PRX is set to be an exciting matchup. There’s a lot at stake for both teams: if LEV wins, it would be the team’s first Masters trophy, and a PRX win would take them closer to finally conquering Champions after barely missing it in 2023.

Paper Rex is a fearsome opponent, and they did 2-0 LEV in the first upper-bracket match, but they should still be wary. Several factors line up here to give the Argentinian team higher potential than one might think. For one, PRX’s qualification match for the Grand Finals with EDG was EXTREMELY close. The first two maps both went into overtime, and EDG certainly could have flipped the script if they had cleaned up their act in-game.

Meanwhile, LEV’s matchup with EDG in the lower bracket was a completely clean 3-0 sweep. EDG only took five rounds against them on Haven, a VALORANT map that brings together the core principles of the game and has been around since the VCT’s first tournaments. If LEV can pummel a team that almost beat PRX this badly, they might have a fighting chance in the Grand Finals.
