Team Secret Skye Will Stand in for naTz in VCT Pacific

Team Secret rolled into VCT Pacific 2026 Stage 2 with three new players, and now, another fresh face will hit the stage. The org is subbing in coach Skye after naTz faced unforeseen circumstances. Here’s everything we know.

Team Secret Calls Up Skye as Stand-In for naTz

On July 30, 2026, Philippines VALORANT org Team Secret announced core roster member naTz would not play for a portion of VCT Pacific. A related X.com post described the issue as “a hardship on the way to Champions,” explaining that “naTz had to fly home to sort out an urgent matter.“

Jonathan “naTz” Adiputra is the team’s Sentinel main, specializing in Cypher gameplay. The young pro joined Team Secret in mid-July, originally hailing from Rex Regum Qeon and BOOM Esports. naTz’ time on Team Secret marks his debut Tier 1 VCT season after competing in the VALORANT Challengers League (VCL). He is an extremely recent addition, and teammates STYRON and Zeus arrived on the scene at the same time.

Team Secret confirmed that coach Felipe ‘skyeSG‘ Lim will stand in for naTz during the org’s upcoming matchup with Paper Rex. It’s unclear how long naTz’s hiatus will last, and when/whether he will return to the roster.

Skye also responded to the update on his personal account, saying: “unc back on the server.”

What Does This Mean for VCT Pacific?

Sources including Sheep Esports and @valohabercisi report naTz’ temporary departure could be due to visa processing issues. However, Team Secret and naTz have not yet elaborated on the scenario.

VCT Pacific Stage 2 kicked off earlier in the month, bringing together the strongest VALORANT teams from the APAC region. Team Secret placed near the bottom of the leaderboard in the Kickoff and Stage 1. Currently, the organization is participating in the tournament’s Group Stage. It notably swept DRX in a 2:0 matchup, but lost to VARREL and T1.

Team Secret is already not having the strongest start. A roster shakeup during the Group Stage’s final few matches could impact the org’s chances for making it into the Playoffs. If they don’t claw their way into the upper half of the Group Stage cluster, they’ll be stuck competing in the Play-Ins rather than directly moving forward. VCT Stage 2 Playoffs winners progress to VALORANT Champions 2026, so the stakes are higher than ever.
