Is True Damage Coming Back?

K/DA has been making headlines in 2026 after teasing a comeback. For the first time in six years, the League of Legends K-Pop group might release new music, and fans have been waiting eagerly for months. K/DA’s original success opened doors for new virtual band flankers: HEARTSTEEL and Pentakill are other familiar names.

HEARTSTEEL has already confirmed it has new content for fans before the year ends. Die-hard fans also spotted a fresh K/DA copyright document, indicating a potential new song called ‘Watch Me‘. Now, even more leaks are saying True Damage might be the next group to make a triumphant return.

True Damage is built around five core Champions: Akali, Ekko, Senna, Yasuo, and Qiyana. The group launched in 2019 as part of Riot’s ongoing push into music, following the success of K/DA the year before. True Damage leans into a hip hop and trap sound, giving it a different vibe from K/DA’s pop focused style. After its debut, each champion got a special True Damage skin to match the group’s streetwear-inspired look.

Their debut song, “GIANTS,” featured real world artists like Becky G, Keke Palmer, Soyeon from (G)I-DLE, Duckwrth, and Thutmose, blending animated visuals with live performances. On September 10, 2026, League of Legends leaks began emerging that state True Damage will return soon. They stem from reputable sources, including @LeagueOfLeaks, who wrote:

“True Damage is coming back with new skins […] in 2026.”

Multiple netizens asked @LeagueOfLeaks if this information was correct. The account responded multiple times to confidently confirm it, saying “Yeah, I’m serious!” and calling it “fr fr.”

Supposedly, True Damage’s comeback will include a new set of skins for each Champion in the band. We’ll probably get updated looks with a gritty aesthetic. The comeback may also feature a new music release: @LeagueOfLeaks said new music was “unknown for now, but it’s possible!”

When is the True Damage Comeback?

True Damage will reportedly return in Season 3 Act 2 of 2026. This phase begins on October 7, 2026.

We already know that this Act has a music-focused theme. True Damage would fit perfectly into the lineup alongside HEARTSTEEL and K/DA. However, it’s likely that we won’t see them pop up until later in the era. @LeagueOfLeaks cautions:
