How Much Is donk Worth? CS2 Pros Share Their Estimates in ESL CS Video

“How much is Danil ‘Donk’ Kryshkovets worth?” is one of the biggest questions in Counter-Strike 2 right now. The Team Spirit star has been the most talked-about young player in the scene since his breakout, and a recent video clip put the question directly to some of the game’s top pros and coaches. Their answers were surprising, and they show just how differently players, coaches and fans see the value of a CS2 superstar.

How much would it cost to buy donk? CS2 Pros Answer

Ten players and coaches from the Counter-Strike 2 scene gave estimates in a YouTube Short posted by ESL CS. Here’s a quick look at the numbers:

Player	Full name	Team	Estimate
MATYS	Matúš Šimko	G2 Esports	8 million
susp	Tim Sebastian Ångström	HEROIC	6 to 7 million
nilo	Linus Bergman	HEROIC	7 million
H0bbit	Abay Khassenov	PARIVISION	5 million
JT	Johnny Theodosiou	Team Liquid	5 million
iM	Mihai Ivan	Natus Vincere	10 million
XANTARES	İsmailcan Dörtkardeş	Aurora Gaming	10 million
zhokiNg	Zhong Weijie	TYLOO (coach)	20 million
JBOEN	Jason Boe Nielsen	FaZe Clan (on loan from BIG Academy)	100 million
jcobbb	Jakub Pietruszewski	FaZe Clan	8 to 10 million

Most answers fell between 5 and 10 million. H0bbit and JT gave the lowest figures at 5 million each, and JT also mentioned a price of 3 million for another player, m0NESY. At the other end, zhokiNg, a coach rather than a player, said 20 million.

Two answers came with extra comments. iM said 10 million but added that the price “can be 20 though,” noting that a first offer would be 3 million. JBOEN gave the highest figure, 100 million, and added “just keep him,” which suggests he sees donk as too valuable to sell at any realistic price.

However, it’s worth noting that the numbers are not monthly salaries. The players did not say whether they meant a one-time buyout fee (the amount a team pays another team to take a player under contract), a yearly salary, or the player’s overall worth to a team. Some answers may have assumed different things, so the figures are best read as rough opinions rather than precise valuations. The clip also does not name a currency.

donk’s Rise to the Top of CS2: Titles, Awards and MVPs

donk has been among the best in the world since his move to the top level with Team Spirit. His results at such a young age have made him one of the most talked-about names in CS2 and a regular topic in debates about player value and transfer prices.

That reputation is a big reason why the pros in the ESL CS clip gave such different estimates of what he is worth. To understand those numbers, it helps to look at what donk has actually achieved so far.

Quick look at the achievements

• Major win: He won the PW Shanghai Major 2024 with Team Spirit and was named the event’s MVP. At 17 years and 324 days old, he became the youngest player to win a Major and the youngest Major MVP.
• Other titles: He won IEM Katowice 2024 in his first top-tier LAN event, was MVP there at 17 years and 17 days old, and posted a 1.79 rating, the highest recorded at a Big Event. His other wins include BetBoom Dacha and the Esports World Cup.
• Awards: HLTV, a major CS statistics and news site, named him Player of the Year for 2024, along with Rookie of the Year, Opener of the Year and Highlight of the Year. It ranked him No. 1 in its Top 20 players list for 2024 and No. 2 for 2025. He has won more than 13 HLTV MVP awards, and his five MVPs in his first full year tied a record held by ZywOo.
• Teammates’ first Major: Of Spirit’s lineup at that Major, only sh1ro had previously won one (IEM Rio Major 2022 with Outsiders). Some in the community say donk’s performances helped carry chopper, magixx, zont1x and coach hally to their first Major titles.

Things you may not know about donk

Beyond the trophies and awards, several lesser-known details help explain how donk became one of the best players in the world. Much of donk’s skill comes from the sheer amount of time he has put into the game. By early 2026, he had reportedly passed 20,000 hours of lifetime play in Counter-Strike. He started on CS 1.6 at the age of 5 and spent much of his early teens playing 12 to 15 hours a day.

That practice has produced some rare results at the top level. At the Shanghai Major 2024, he scored four aces, meaning he eliminated an entire enemy team on his own on four separate occasions during the event.

His path to that stage was not an easy one, though. When Team Spirit’s academy scouted him at 14, he was living in Tomsk, Siberia, and playing European online tournaments with a ping (connection delay) of 90 to 100 milliseconds. His results improved after the organization moved him to Belgrade, Serbia, which brought his ping down to single digits.

All of this has made him one of the most sought-after players in the game. After his record-setting first year, which included multiple MVP awards, Team Spirit management said it had rejected several large buyout offers from rival organizations. It also estimated that donk’s market value could easily be over $10 million, a figure that sits within the range of guesses the pros gave in the ESL CS clip.

If you ever dream of becoming the next donk and want to grab the mouse he uses, you’re out of luck for now. He plays with a custom Zowie mouse that isn’t available to the public, so no amount of frantic online shopping will get you the exact same one. The good news is that you can still copy his CS2 settings and test them yourself. Just keep in mind that settings alone won’t give you his reflexes, his aim or his 20,000 hours of practice, so don’t be surprised if you still get eliminated by a random Silver player.
