LOUD is at the top of its game right now. The Brazilian org just emerged victorious from VALORANT Champions 2026 in Shanghai, becoming the first team in the title’s history to win Champs twice. Roberto “erde” Lobos and Lucca “lukxo” Travaioli were among the Grand Finals’ key players.

Now, sources are saying the duo will move to fellow Americas org Leviatán for the VCT 2027 season. Let’s recap everything we know.

Are LOUD erde and luk xo Making a Transfer to Leviatán?

On October 28, 2026, Sheep Esports reported that erde and luk xo “have reached verbal agreements” to join Leviatán. The duo would be particularly attractive acquisitions as members of LOUD’s Champions 2026 winning roster. Both VALORANT pros also flex between Controller and Sentinel, meaning their Agent pool is versatile.

LOUD started Champs 2026 by knocking analyst favorites Paper Rex and defending 2025 winners NRG to the Playoffs lower bracket. In the Upper Finals, they played Team Vitality, known for their consistency and FPS influence. LOUD won 2-1, but Vitality clawed their way back up for a Grand Finals faceoff. After winning 3-1, LOUD lifted its second Champions trophy.

Notably, erde earned MVP honors for his performance throughout Shanghai (the youngest to accomplish this since the VCT began). He served as the team’s IGL throughout the tourney. luk xo was another standout who attracted international attention, especially for his snappy aim on Chamber.

erde previously spent nearly three years on Leviatán’s Academy team between 2022 and 2025. LOUD was his debut in the Tier 1 circuit; a move back to LEV would be a return to his former org.

luk xo, meanwhile, had represented Galorys between 2023 and 2024. The Brazilian Tier 2 team regularly competes in Challengers.

Leviatán VCT 2027 Team

Once erde and luk xo make the transfer, Leviatán’s VCT 2027 lineup would be:

  • Roberto “erde” Lobos
  • Lucca “luk xo” Travaioli
  • Rodrigo “spikeziN” Lombardi
  • Bruno “Neon” Rodríguez
  • Guilherme “blowz” Oliveira

New VCT Roster Restrictions

In addition to the new VCT 2027 format with Open Qualifiers and Cups, the update is introducing brand-new roster restrictions. The VCT 2027 roster rules could have a major impact on team building across VALORANT esports, especially in the Americas.

Under the reported regional restrictions, teams must field at least three players who are residents of their designated home region, with a maximum of two non-resident players in the starting lineup. The new system divides the Americas into smaller regions, including Brazil, LATAM North, LATAM South, and North America. This makes player residency a key factor in roster decisions for the 2027 VCT season.

These restrictions could complicate erde and luk xo joining LEVIATÁN for VCT 2027. LOUD is a Brazilian team, while LEV competes in Argentina and LATAM. LEVIATÁN would need to ensure its starting lineup meets the residency requirements for its designated region.

If either signing creates a third non-resident player, the organization may need to adjust its roster or explore an applicable exception. One player would have to earn Argentinian citizenship. The reported move is therefore an exciting possibility, but VCT 2027 roster eligibility could become a crucial factor in determining whether LEVIATÁN can finalize its lineup.

One of the Youngest VCT Rosters

Leviatán made headlines earlier this year by winning VALORANT Masters London 2026, snatching the trophy from Paper Rex in a close 3-2 battle.

The accomplishment was LEV’s first-ever S-tier trophy. The roster had just made an extremely risky move, replacing its long-term starters with transfers and several promotions from its academy team.

However, the decision paid off. Leviatán’s Masters London roster was among the youngest ever to win an international VCT event. The players brought renewed motivation and a clean slate to the lineup. If erde and luk xo join, they will continue this strategy, solidifying a new era for the org.

Despite the Masters London win, Leviatán did not qualify for Champions 2026. VCT 2027 will bring the VALORANT esports world into an unprecedented format. The franchised era is ending, Riot is reevaluating partnerships, and veteran orgs will be put to the test.
