Lucca “lukxo” Travaioli, a 19-year-old VALORANT player from Brazil, has officially confirmed he will leave LOUD and play for Argentina’s Leviatán in 2027. The announcement arrives only 11 days after LOUD won the world championship, VALORANT Champions 2026, in Shanghai.

On Thursday, October 29, lukxo posted a video and a written message on X (formerly Twitter) to explain himself, as many fans had reacted angrily. He is moving together with teammate Roberto “erde” Lobos, who was named the most valuable player (MVP) of Champions 2026.

How the Transfer Happened

News first spread on October 26, when Brazilian outlet THESPIKE Brasil said MIBR wanted both players. The org had sent LOUD an offer. The team was building a new squad after removing its old one, and its offer was worth more than Leviatán’s.

Reports the next day said lukxo had already said no to MIBR. He did not want to play for a team that competes against LOUD. Leviatán had also bid for the pair. Its idea was to keep lukxo and erde on the same team as Bruno “Neon” Rodríguez, Guilherme “blowz” Oliveira and Rodrigo “spikeziN” Lombardi.

On October 28, Sheep Esports reported that both players had agreed, verbally, to join Leviatán. THESPIKE then added that LOUD accepted the smaller offer because the players preferred to stay together. The contracts are expected to be finalized after the VCT transfer window. This period opens on November 2.

Why Lukxo Transferred

Lukxo admitted that plenty of fans are unhappy about his move from LOUD. He stated they have a right to feel that way. The pro explained that his contract had stopped him from talking about the move earlier. He only got approval to speak on the day he posted, and the video had been filmed beforehand.

Lukxo gave three main reasons for his departure. He wants to play with teammates he trusts, he hopes to do well internationally, and he wants to provide better for his family. Staying at LOUD, he said, meant not knowing who would be on the team next year. He described pro gaming as a gamble and pointed out that LOUD’s own championship run began with the team in a tough spot.

He also said sorry for any false hope he gave viewers on streams while he could not share the truth and thanked LOUD, its leaders and all fans, whether they backed him or criticized him.

What Happens Next

Losing two key players from the championship roster means LOUD now faces a major rebuild. Leviatán, which already holds a VCT Americas partner slot for 2027–2028, is expected to field Neon, blowz, spikeziN, lukxo, and erde.

As of October 29, neither organization has made an official announcement. The deal still depends on final administrative steps and the opening of the transfer window
