NaVi, a household name in the FPS circuit, has released its full VALORANT roster after losing VCT 2027 partner status. The org will continue its VALORANT operations, but is shifting focus to its NaVi Junior academy team. Here’s a recap.
On October 28, 2026, Ukrainian esports org Natus Vincere (NaVi) announced that it is releasing its full VALORANT roster. The decision arrives “as the new VCT season approaches,” with NaVi restructuring to shift its VALORANT investments.
NaVi releases the roster following Riot’s VCT 2027 partner team announcement. The org is leaving its VCT partner status after four years.
Previously, the lineup included:
“We wish everyone the best of luck in their future journeys and hope to see them shine on the big stage again,” NaVi wrote.
Previously, NaVi has competed in VCT EMEA. They notably appeared in VALORANT Champions 2023. In the 2024 and 2025 seasons, the org averaged 5th-6th place in seasonal VCT stages and did not qualify to international VCT events. 2026 saw a decline in performance, with NaVi landing among the bottom slots of the leaderboard.
On October 19, NaVi confirmed it will not be a partner team in the VCT 2027 season. This change occurs as Riot shifts the tournament’s structure, reevaluating its partnered organizations.
The team wrote, “after four years in the VCT, NaVi will not continue as a partnered organization for the 2027 season.”
NaVi has been active in VALORANT since 2021 and has maintained influence in the overall FPS esports sphere for decades. When the news emerged that the org would no longer remain one of Riot’s partnered VCT teams, the community wondered whether NaVi would continue the operations.
NaVi did confirm that they plan to keep their VALORANT operations active. However, they will not start the season directly in VCT EMEA.
In a statement, the team confirmed: “NaVi remains committed to VALORANT […] our VCT partnership may be ending, but our VALORANT journey continues.” The org clarified that they will move investment into NaVi Junior, an academy roster, and “continue providing these young players with the resources and experience needed to grow and compete.”
NaVi Junior will notably appear at the VCT EMEA Kickoff Open Qualifiers.
In the new VCT 2027 format, the franchised era is ending. VALORANT esports is moving to an open qualifier format with international cups and frequent partner team reevaluations. For more information, check out our article on all the VCT 2027 format changes.
These adjustments mean partnered orgs need to stay competitive to remain in the VCT. Long-standing teams are leaving their slots, and newcomers will join the fray.
Since the ecosystem is heavily shifting, some orgs have chosen to depart. Evil Geniuses (which won Champions 2023), LYON, MIBR, and KIWOOM DRX all ceased their VALORANT operations, citing the VCT 2027 changes as a direct cause.
