After reshuffling its full lineup, Evil Geniuses GC has reportedly made another significant change: Game Changers player srN may be benched for “behavior”. Here’s everything we know about the situation.

On July 11, 2026, Evil Geniuses Game Changers reportedly benched Nicolas “srN” Niederauer from its core VALORANT lineup. This means srN will likely not play during Game Changers 2026, which features female and gender-nonconforming VALORANT pros. The tournament’s final stages are approaching, and its Championship occurs in November. The decision, according to thespike.gg, allegedly stems from srN’s “behavior both in and outside the game.”

Evil Geniuses has reportedly not specified which behaviors exactly caused srN’s inactive status. They have not yet commented on the situation or revealed who will replace her. srN has also not commented. She only played on the team for several months so far, originally joining in April 2026 during a full roster revamp. Previously, she represented MIBR‘s Game Changers team for two years, placing 3rd in the 2025 Game Changers Championship.

srN has notably sparked community discussion for their interactions with fellow Game Changers athletes in the past. During some matches, they have spammed in-game sprays of enemy teams with bullets. srN also attracted controversy after emoting during a match against G2.

Some netizens also claim that srN has made misogynistic comments towards fellow players. srN has allegedly called opponents “sl-ts” in solo queue while live on Twitch, also allegedly disparaging an opponent from FURIA. Evil Geniuses has a lasting legacy in the VALORANT world. The org had a VALORANT Champions 2023 underdog win, where head coach Christine “potter” Chi led an overlooked roster to victory. Its main VCT lineup includes alumni like Demon1, one of VALORANT’s best Duelists, and Ethan, who went on to win Champions 2025 as NRG’s IGL.

The team’s Game Changers roster has participated in the circuit since its inaugural year in 2022. However, it only reached the Game Changers Championship in 2023, placing 7th/8th.
