Riot Reveals The Worlds 2026 Anthem: Release Date, True Damage, Everything We Know

The Worlds 2026 Anthem is here, and hip-hop group True Damage is taking center stage. Here’s everything to know about “Know My Name,” including its release date and new vocalists.

True Damage is Back

For several weeks, League of Legends fans have speculated about a True Damage return. The group hasn’t released a single since “GIANTS” in 2019, which received over 233 million YouTube views.

Six years later, Riot Games has announced that they will return with a brand-new song. True Damage will release the official Worlds 2026 Anthem, bringing a gritty hip-hop vibe to the event.

The launch arrives shortly after HEARTSTEEL’s comeback, “Live My Life.” Leaks claim K/DA, League’s most famous virtual group, could also return in the near future.

Which Champions and Singers are in True Damage? New Vocalists

True Damage features five of League of Legends’ most popular Champions. Each has a real-life musician voicing them (except for Yasuo, who is a DJ and producer). Soyeonn from G-IDLE is returning as Akali, but the rest of the lineup has swapped out for new artists in 2026.

Worlds 2026 Anthem Title: “Know My Name”

We already have an official title for the new song. The Worlds 2026 Anthem is called “Know My Name.” True Damage’s Anthem is the 13th in League’s long-standing tradition: artists including NewJeans, Linkin Park, and G.E.M. have previously held the honor.

So far, fans can expect “raw grit, global culture, and an evolved hip-hop sound” from the single. It reportedly “channels the energy of competition and the relentless drive to reach the top. True Damage returns not for fame, but for impact, delivering a Worlds anthem that celebrates the diverse paths players take to make their name known.”

Indeed, Worlds 2026 already has intense storylines building up. T1 is headed to the big stage to defend its three-year win streak. However, plenty of new faces are fighting to topple the dynasty and mark their names in League of Legends history. For example, it’s Karmine Corp’s first year at the tournament.

It seems like Faker might play a key role in the MV, as League’s official X.com account dropped another teaser post with the caption “All roads lead to him.”

True Damage Live Concert at the Worlds 2026 Opening Ceremony

The Worlds 2026 Opening Ceremony will feature a live performance from True Damage. Attendees can watch the group sing “Know My Name” in person on November 14, in Barclays Center. Mastercard is sponsoring the Brooklyn, New York appearance.

Riot Games Global Head of Music & Events Maria Egan elaborated on why the studio picked True Damage for Worlds 2026:
