Riot Games is cooking up some new Riftbound sets for esports fans. Here’s everything to know about the T1 2025 Worlds Riftbound sets, including their costs, included items, and esports impact.

Riot Games Announces T1 2025 Worlds Riftbound Sets

On July 3, 2026, Riot Games announced it was taking the next step to commemorate the legacy of South Korean League of Legends team T1 with a trading card expansion. The T1 2025 Worlds Riftbound Set will include special artwork that references the winning roster. It has bright red, gold, white, and black colors, fitting the org’s color palette.

Riftbound dropped a trailer video, which showcased a montage of T1’s best Worlds 2025 moments. It also displayed 3D renderings of several of the cards.

What’s in the T1 2025 Worlds Riftbound Sets?

Doran, Oner, Faker, Gumayusi, and Keria all played at the event, so they also appear in the branding. Their chosen Champions make up the core 5 cards:

  • Doran: Ambessa, The Wolf
  • Faker: Galio, Indefatigable
  • Gumayusi: Miss Fortune, Buccaneer
  • Keria: Seraphine, Not Alone
  • Oner: Xin Zhao, Vigilant

Notably, the Seraphine card is not formally allowed in TCG play until its official set, Riftbound Radiance, releases.

It’s important to note that there are three different items in the T1 2025 Worlds Riftbound collaboration:

  • The Signature Edition, which is a limited-edition collector’s set. Only 10,125 units are produced in each language. All serialized cards will feature the player’s signature in gold print. They will also reportedly have a “unique foiling effect.” Riot designed this set as “something you can put on your shelf and enjoy.” The packaging includes high-quality display elements.
  • The T1 Worlds Champion Player Bundle. This is also available in English, Chinese, and Korean. Riot designed the Player Bundle for players to actively use in the TCG, so it includes key deck-building elements. Buyers also get card sleeves, a binder, a metal die, and a Deckbox.

Players can buy the new Riftbound drops on the Riot Games official merch store. Here’s a link. That said, fans can only obtain the Signature Edition English cards by entering a drawing, which will occur on the Merch store in August. Riot says “Chinese and Korean versions will be handled separately in-region.”

  • English: $70
  • Chinese: ¥399

What Does This Mean for League of Legends Esports?

T1 is one of League’s longest-standing and most successful teams. Since its creation in 2002, it has more than 2 decades of history and countless accolades. The organization has won 6 World Championships, setting a record. In addition, it was a major part of Lee “Faker” Sang-hyeok‘s rise into one of the most recognizable athletes of all time.

In 2024, Faker became the first esports player inducted into Riot Games’ Hall of Legends, commemorating pros who have made indelible impacts on the industry. Even outside esports culture, he has attained a level of fame comparable to players in traditional sports. Faker has appeared in commercials, on official branding, plenty of memes, and even on ramen noodle cups. Riot Games’ decision to release a T1 2025 Worlds Riftbound set adds further emphasis to Faker and T1’s esports influence.

It also incentivizes esports fans to get involved in the trading card scene. Riftbound’s launch in 2025 was not a guaranteed success. It arrived after League of Legends shuttered development on digital TCG game Legends of Runeterra, partially due to its lack of profitability. However, Riftbound itself seems to be making waves. The cards are heavily present at conventions and individual shops, and it has a healthy player base. Plus, some gamers are just collecting the cards for fun and ripping packs to find their favorite champs.

Worlds 2026 will arrive in October. If this set does well, Riot Games could release further team collaborations in the future. Plus, more surprises could be on the horizon: rumor has it K/DA may be releasing new music soon.
