One of League’s most iconic Champions might be moving from the Rift to the Battle Bus soon. New leaks say midlaner Ahri could arrive as a Fortnite skin, with some Mythic weapons and accessories in tow. Here’s everything we know so far.
On August 20, 2026, leaks began emerging that claim a League of Legends x Fortnite collaboration is in the works. The announcement arrives shortly after the game’s Chapter 7 Season 4 ‘Override’ launch.
This new Fortnite Season has a heavy focus on classic games, and part of the lore involves titles like 99 Nights in the Forest and Sonic ‘hacking’ the Epic Games mainframe to transform it. League could fit right in, as the MOBA has built a heavy fanbase since its 2009 launch and has influenced the gaming sphere for over a decade.
The leaks arrive from multiple sources, including several Epic Games partnered accounts like @HYPEX. Though we’re in the early stages of information, they appear to be legitimate. Dataminers have also found several files with animations, ability icons, and more.
This would not be the first time Fortnite has collaborated with the Riot Games title, making the concept more believable. In 2021, the studio celebrated the Arcane launch by dropping skins for its main characters. Fans saw Jinx and Vi make their way to Battle Royale from the big screens, plus some sprays and additional cosmetics. The partnership was so successful that it returned in 2025 for a second round after Season 2 premiered worldwide.
According to leakers, the League of Legends x Fortnite collab will have an Ahri theme. One of the game’s most popular Champions, she’s a mid-laner with burst-style attacks. Ahri is a Mage, meaning she has magic-based abilities, and is a foxlike Vastaya from Runeterra’s Ionia region.
If the leaks are legitimate, we’ll probably see an Ahri Fortnite skin, plus several accessories and a mythic weapon. Much of Ahri’s kit revolves around her iconic E charm ability, which immobilizes champs and opens up timings for her combos. She also has homing orbs with her W that track nearby opponents. @LeagueofLeaks claims Ahri’s W ability will factor into the collab. In addition, they say players might be able to use her Speed Dash from her Ultimate.
Ahri has a wide variety of fans in League of Legends. As her character design is flirty and fashionable, she draws attention from many casual players who appreciate her stylish energy. However, her approachability hides a kit that still has high-level potential and allows gamers to constantly polish their mechanics while climbing the game’s ranks. Because she can quickly close distance, make game-changing engagements, and easily take 1v1s, Ahri has the potential to carry and make impact in skilled competition.
Picking Ahri for a collab is calculated because she also has a strong esports presence. The decision would allow Fortnite to appeal to casual players and esports enthusiasts alike. Some of the scene’s most famous names are known for flashy Ahri plays. BLG Knight has popped off with the Champion in recent years. GEN.G Chovy is also known for his Ahri performances, and T1‘s Lee ‘Faker’ Sang-Hyeok is another Ahri fan. In fact, Faker’s infamous Signature Immortalized Ahri skin had gamers shelling out 500 USD just to flex on the rift.
