Riot Games is Releasing a Heartsong Seraphine Skin in League

On August 11, 2026, Riot Games announced a new League of Legends skin, Heartsong Seraphine, that will benefit charity. The drop reimagines one of the community’s most popular Supports with a snazzy stage outfit. Its style could give T1 Seraphine a run for its money.

In the splash art, Sera wears a flowing purple gown. She has Sailor Moon-like ponytails, knee-high boots, and indigo flowers in her hair. The cosmetic’s fabric is iridescent, glittering between violet and blue.

The League team also blessed us with a video demonstration of the new skin in action. We can see how it affects Seraphine’s abilities, too, giving them a galaxy-colored refresh. An official caption reads, “Put your heart into every note.”

Heartsong Seraphine Will Benefit Charity

Just like reliable support players benefit their teammates (the Sera/MF Ultimate wombo combo is iconic), the Heartsong Seraphine skin will benefit the gaming community. Riot Games has confirmed that 100% of the skin’s proceeds will go towards the Riot Games Social Impact Fund, which donates to charities and important causes.

In addition, Riot will be donating a 2x match for each skin purchase.

Heartsong Seraphine Release Date in League

Heartsong Seraphine will go live in the League of Legends shop on Wednesday, August 26, 2026. The skin is a limited edition item, so if you want to add it to your collection, you’ll have to grab it before it leaves the rotation on Wednesday, September 23, 2026.

The new cosmetic rolls out with Patch 26.17. It should appear in the in-game Shop immediately after the fresh update.

What is the Riot Games Social Impact Fund?

Ultimately, the Riot Games Social Impact Fund’s goal is “to address deeply systemic issues and behavioral change through our stated priorities: Education, Opportunity, Citizenship, and Sustainability.”

“The Social Impact Fund is a separate entity from Riot Games that allows us to make direct investments to organizations around the globe that are working to solve some of the world’s most pressing problems,” Riot has stated. “Donating to international charities is a complex process and this model allows us to reach nonprofits creating a positive impact everywhere our players live.”

So far, the effort has raised over 74 million USD. It mainly accrues revenue from collaborations in League of Legends and VALORANT. In addition to charity League of Legends skins, Riot hosts a ‘Give Back Bundle’ each year in VAL that re-releases community favorite weapons.

The Social Impact Fund donates to many organizations all over. Players also get a say in which organizations Riot Games chooses, and the studio has opened up voting and suggestions in the past.
