MSI 2026 is here, and players can celebrate in-game with some fresh skin offerings. Broken Covenant Jhin is the year’s main revenue-share cosmetic. Let’s explore everything to know about the skin’s cost, design, and connection to MSI.
On June 24, 2026, Riot Games announced that Broken Covenant Jhin would be the year’s MSI skin. The Broken Covenant skin line is built around a gothic fantasy aesthetic, incorporating stained-glass effects, architectural elements, and dark armor. The base model has muted colors, like graphite gray, dark blue, and tarnished bronze. There are also bright blue, green, and purple accents.
Players who purchase the cosmetic may notice another change: Jhin’s Ultimate has a new sound with mystical music in the background. His abilities see some updates too, with stained glass designs and glittering particles.
The skin is designed for competitive play. Broken Covenant Jhin is the official MSI 2026 revenue-share skin, meaning a percentage of every purchase goes directly toward supporting League of Legends esports. Riot Games will use proceeds to help fund teams, organize tournaments, and advance the League of Legends scene.
Broken Covenant Jhin is live now in the League of Legends store. Players can purchase it by navigating to the Shop tab, which has the gold coin icon on the top right of the screen. It’s important to note that Broken Covenant Jhin costs RP, League of Legends’ premium currency. This means players have to spend real-world money to buy him.
The cosmetic is available in a bundle deal. The set includes the skin, a border icon, a spray, an emote, and a player icon.
Players will have to spend 2,600 RP to purchase Broken Covenant Jhin. This is equal to about 22 USD, depending on what RP purchase method they decide on.

MSI, or the Mid-Season Invitational, is essentially the halfway point of the competitive League of Legends calendar and one of only two events where every major region in the world gets to compete against each other. While Worlds is obviously the bigger deal, MSI matters because it gives teams a chance to prove themselves on the international stage before the year is over, and it often sets the narrative for which region is strongest heading into the second half of the season.
MSI 2026 is occurring now, stretching from Sunday, June 28 to Sunday, July 12, 2026. This year’s event occurs in Daejeon, South Korea, paying homage to the country’s massive influence in the industry. Fans can participate in Pick ‘Ems, so check out our guide on how to lock them in!
Riot Games will broadcast games live on the official League of Legends YouTube channel, @lolesports. The matches are also visible on twitch.tv/riotgames and the dedicated League of Legends esports website.
