Marvel Rivals has a new Halloween event: Night of Illusions is here. This update brings players into a spooky escape room with puzzles, story clues, and free rewards. Elsa Bloodstone is the star, and players follow along as she becomes a detective.
As part of Season 10.5, Halloween: Night of Illusions is live now. It runs for more than two months, so you have plenty of time to grab your favorite items. Here’s everything players need to know.
Night of Illusions is a story-based puzzle event. You play as Elsa Bloodstone, who investigates a strange dark ritual.
This is fitting since Elsa is one of the year’s fan favorite Halloween skins. She has a vampire hunter outfit, where she styles a long trenchcoat with a feathered hat and a black-and-red outfit.
Players move through five chapters, one in each room, to uncover the main mystery. The rooms have clues to find and puzzles to complete. Solving a room unlocks the next one and gives you a reward.
NetEase noted that this is pretty similar to the previous Death of Apocalypse event. If you liked that one, this will feel familiar. There’s no PVP or fighting with other players. It’s more of a relaxing hidden object game.
The event started with the October 29 update. It ends on December 31, the last day of the year.

Players can get different rewards from each event tier. These include:
Before anything starts, remember: you have items in the top right of your screen. This lets you log information and store clues. You also have a chapter objective there, which helps you remember what you’re looking for. The clue tracker will let you know how many items are still left to find.
Clues will look shiny on the map, and a magnifying glass appears when you hover over them.
The first night is set in a hospital… and yes, Nurse Deadpool is here. (The maid outfit has finally received a worthy successor.)

In Chapter 2, you move to a scrapyard. Rocket Raccoon, your favorite talking trash panda, is the star of the show. Here’s how to pass this segment:

Chapter 4 brings us to Blade’s throne room. He’s wearing his brand-new Halloween skin, and there are bats flying around everywhere. These are the steps to finish this chapter:
