Leaks and teasers have the Marvel Rivals community theorizing that X-Men member Jubilee may be one of the title’s next Heroes. ‘Jubilation Lee’ is her real name, and she has firework plasma powers. Originally, Jubilee was a scrappy teenage runaway before the X-Men took her in. Over time, she became a fan favorite because of her sharp attitude and the way she brought a younger, more rebellious voice into a team full of adults. She also had a significant vampire arc in the comics and developed a wholesome bond with Wolverine, who was her mentor.

If the leaks are accurate, Jubilee would arrive sometime during Marvel Rivals Season 9. Typically, the game releases a new hero either at the Season’s start or during the Mid-Season update. Marvel Rivals is hosting a Season 9 Premiere livestream event where it will unveil key updates. This will likely include more info about Jubilee and another rumored hero, The Hood.

On July 7, 2026, reputable Marvel Rivals leak account @X0X_LEAKS posted an allegedly leaked image of Jubilee on X.com. The picture takes inspiration from the Hero’s comic book design, with her trademark yellow jacket and pixie cut. In true Marvel Rivals fashion, though, it does give her a bit of *pizzazz* with a colorful crop top and summertime sunnies.

X0X_LEAKS also posted what may be part of her character description: “She’s bold, she’s electric, and she never fights alone. It’s time to pick her perfect duo who can make her fireworks shine the brightest!’ It’s important to note that as of 1 PM on July 7, the image may be inaccurate and could change before launch. In addition, Marvel Rivals has not yet confirmed that the leak shows Jubilee.

‘They Look Like Sisters’: Marvel Rivals Fans Notice Jubilee and Luna Snow Might Look Exactly Alike

Shortly after the Jubilee leaks went public, X.com netizens noticed something surprising: the alleged Jubilee design looks exactly like current Marvel Rivals character Luna Snow. One user, @Moroatlis, posted a striking comparison, captioning it “Do they know they’re going to hell?”

The Jubilee and Luna Snow in the images have similar pixie haircuts, near-identical crop top and jacket combos, and almost exactly the same eye color. They also share triangular earrings.

In just a few hours, the post has gone viral, accumulating over 11k likes and nearly 300,000 views. Many commenters agreed with Moroatlis’ take, with one saying, “I had to do a double take. They really do look almost identical.“

Another, @Eliompa88, wrote in Spanish, “They don’t resemble the character at all; they just took the Luna model and put Jubilee’s clothes on it.”

In addition, rumor has it Jubilee might be a Strategist. Luna Snow is already part of Marvel Rivals’ Strategist roster.

Jubilee and Luna Snow: ‘Overwatch Face’ 2.0?

If the leaked images are legit, this wouldn’t be the first time a game had extremely similar designs for multiple characters. Fellow hero shooter Overwatch, one of Marvel Rivals’ direct competitors, is notorious for giving its female characters near-identical ‘Overwatch Face’ designs.

Newer DPS hero Anran is one of the phenomenon’s main victims. In fact, Anran originally looked so similar to Juno and Kiriko that Overwatch actually had to completely redesign her face.

One X.com user referenced the situation in a reply, telling Moroatlis that they “don’t want to scare” them, but Jubilee might also look just like Kiriko. The netizen included a spliced image of Kiriko and Jubilee’s faces, showing an extreme resemblance.
