For two years, saadzin has been a core part of Legacy’s roster. Now, the AWPer is moving to another organization. Let’s explore everything to know about the move.
On July 10, 2026, Brazilian team Legacy announced core roster member Guilherme “saadzin” Pacheco will be leaving its Counter-Strike lineup. In an X.com post, the organization thanked saadzin for “Over 2 years with the organization, 500 maps played, titles, and an eternal legacy.” Legacy continued, reaffirming their support:
“We are so grateful for this story you built here. We’ll always be rooting for you […] Good luck in this new chapter!“
Thank you, @saadzin_fps ! 💛 Over 2 years with the organization, 500 maps played, titles, and an eternal legacy. We are so grateful for this story you built here. We’ll always be rooting for you 🙏 Good luck in this new chapter!

saadzin, an AWPer, originally joined Legacy in May of 2024. Since then, he has participated in three Majors and won the 2025 and 2026 CS Asia Championships. In these events, Legacy defeated two analyst-favorite teams, Aurora Gaming and Team Falcons.
Imperial Esports is saadzin’s new home team. This fellow Brazilian org, also known as Gamdom Imperial, has an eight-year Counter-Strike history.
Imperial wrote that “A new chapter begins” with saadzin’s signing. Alongside some clips of his strongest in-game moments, the team’s X.com account stated: “May this be a journey of great achievements, let’s go together.“

Brazil has grown into one of the most important countries in Counter-Strike, largely thanks to its passionate fanbase and a history that goes back to the early days of SK Gaming and the original MIBR core. Gabriel “FalleN” Toledo is particularly recognizable for his efforts to advance the region. Fans refer to him as the “Godfather of Brazilian Counter-Strike,” and his support has helped both his home team FURIA and rival Brazilian organizations gain influence.
Today, FURIA sits as the top Brazilian team internationally, currently ranked number one in the region with a roster built around FalleN, yuurih, KSCERATO, YEKINDAR, and molodoy. Right behind them, teams like paiN Gaming and MIBR keep the local scene stacked. Brazil is known for its enthusiastic crowds at live tournaments, and consistently produces new talent in the sport. The region has progressed from an underdog story to a fearsome foe at Majors.

Legacy, a relatively young team with its main roster formed in 2023, has been the latest step in this legacy (pun intended). saadzin was a core part of the roster during its rise, meaning his transfer to Imperial is bittersweet for fans.
Gamdom Imperial has begun an ascent this year with its performance at the StarLadder Budapest Major 2025, where they knocked out The MongolZ and then edged past M80. The team made it to the Major’s Stage 3, notably pitting them against some of the best teams in the world. Since then, the roster has experienced significant turnover, and the team is back to smaller regional events like the ESL Challenger League and various CCT South America series. There is some inconsistency in Imperial’s play, but the team has potential to climb further. Fans are waiting to see how saadzin could affect the org’s trajectory.
