After several years away, GamerLegion is welcoming one of its core roster members back. FL4MUS is returning. Let’s explore everything to know about the move.

FL4MUS Returns to GamerLegion

On July 17, 2026, GamerLegion announced Counter-Strike player Timur “FL4MUS” Maryev has returned to the organization. The organization stated in an X.com post that it is “really excited to welcome FL4MUS back indefinitely as we begin the next chapter and head into the new season. Together we’ve shared some unforgettable moments, and we’re ready to create many more!”

GamerLegion also commented, “The one and only king of Baby Shark has found his way back to us.”

FL4MUS had moved to the German team in 2024, shortly after Counter-Strike 2’s launch. He stayed on the main roster as a rifler until the year’s end, transferring to Russian org Virtus.pro instead. From 2025 to July 2026, FL4MUS adopted an inactive status, hopping from Virtus.pro to OG and BetBoom on loan.

The pro wrote on his personal account about GamerLegion’s announcement, “Hello guys. I’m back on the server.”

What Does This Mean for Counter-Strike Esports? Community Reactions

GamerLegion’s fanbase appears excited to see FL4MUS back on the main roster. Netizens are commenting that the move frees him from ‘contract jail,’ claiming his previous Virtus.pro loan status was holding him back from competing at his full potential. User @DeeDrie89 says, “Finally, someone saved Fl4mus.” Another reply wrote, “Dobby is finally free.”

Netizens are wondering what FL4MUS’ GamerLegion contract actually includes, since the team used “indefinitely” in its reveal post. Some are curious if the situation is a temporary loan, a long-term buyout, or a combination of the two.

Originally, GamerLegion picked up FL4MUS during one of its strongest periods. In 2023, the org finished 2nd at the BLAST.tv Paris Major, catching worldwide attention. However, its performance declined sharply throughout 2024 and 2025, to the point that it exited StarLadder Budapest near the bottom of the leaderboard. 2026 has delivered some brighter moments, with a 2nd-place finish at IEM Atlanta and 3rd/4th at BLAST Rivals spring, but the team’s IEM Cologne performance was still subpar.
