VALORANT Neo Frontier 2.0 Skin Bundle: Leaks, Release Date
New teasers allege that Neo Frontier 2.0 is the next VALORANT skin bundle. Let’s recap its possible release date and info.
Neo Frontier 2.0 rides into VALORANT on July 30 with an Old West Vandal, a Shorty, and a first-of-its-kind Lasso melee, all landing alongside Patch 13.02 and a new limited-time mode. Here is everything in the bundle.

VALORANT just saddled up for another trip out west. Riot dropped the Forge the Future reveal trailer for Neo Frontier 2.0, the sequel to one of the most loved skin lines the game has ever released, and it rides into the store on July 30 alongside Patch 13.02. The pitch is the same one that made the original a hit: guns that start as dusty Old West iron and morph into glowing sci-fi hardware as you upgrade them. The twist this time is smaller, sharper, and it finally answers a request the community has been making for three years.
Three items, and every one of them counts. You get a Vandal, a Shorty, and a melee nobody saw coming: a lasso. It all lines up with the leaks that made the rounds before the reveal.
Start with the Vandal, because that is the headline. When the first Neo Frontier launched in 2023, it shipped with a Phantom, Odin, Marshal, and Sheriff, and not a single Vandal. Vandal mains have been salty about it ever since. Riot clearly heard them, because 2.0 puts an Old West Vandal front and center.
The Shorty suits the theme perfectly, all sawn-off frontier menace at base and neon buckshot once it transforms.
Then there is the lasso. VALORANT has handed players knives, axes, fists, and even a frying pan, but never a rope. This one swings with its own music track, which is exactly the sort of absurd detail that makes a melee worth saving up for.
The whole appeal of Neo Frontier is the transformation. Lower upgrade tiers keep the weapons grounded in spaghetti-western territory, worn wood and iron with custom audio but no flashy effects. Push the upgrades and the guns light up with the sci-fi visual effects and color variants the line is known for.
If you owned the original, you already know the loop. If you did not, think of it as two skins in one, with you deciding how far down the futuristic road you want to ride.
Riot has not put an official number on it yet. For reference, the first Neo Frontier was an Exclusive-tier bundle at 8,700 VP, with gun skins around 2,175 VP each and the melee at 4,350 VP. Since 2.0 is a leaner set with two guns and one melee, most community estimates land somewhere in the 5,000 to 6,000 VP range, but treat that as a guess until Riot says otherwise.
One thing worth knowing: as an Exclusive bundle, these skins will not show up in the Night Market. Miss the shop window and you are stuck waiting on a lucky daily-store roll.
The bundle is not arriving alone. Patch 13.02 rolls out July 28 for North America and July 29 for Europe, and it brings more than cosmetics.
The big one is a new limited-time mode. Leaks point to All Random One Site: Replication, a spin on the old Replication format squeezed onto a single site, which should make for some chaotic, fast-forward rounds. Riot has not published the full notes yet, so agent tweaks and balance changes are still under wraps as of this writing.
It all slots into Act 4, which has already been busy. The act opened with the Summit map and the Retake mode, Fracture and Pearl rotated out, and Patch 13.01 shook up Iso, Yoru, and the Outlaw while Riot came down hard on rank manipulators. With Champions 2026 creeping closer, the game is not easing off the gas.
That comes down to how much you loved the first one. If the transforming-gun gimmick still lands for you, or if you have waited years for a Neo Frontier Vandal, this is an easy yes. If melees are your thing, a rope with a soundtrack is tough to argue against. Either way, the clock starts July 30, and an Exclusive bundle does not hang around long.
