The VALORANT Grave Matters Capsule Has a Cute Ghost: Release Date, Bundle Info

VALORANT is getting a new Halloween capsule. It is called Grave Matters, and an adorable ghost buddy headlines the bundle. Riot has not officially announced the cosmetic yet, but multiple dataminers leaked the details on October 23, 2026. Here’s everything to know about the set, what it looks like, and its possible release date.

VALORANT Leakers Reveal Grave Matters Capsule, Ghost Mascot

On October 23, 2026, multiple VALORANT leakers revealed the Grave Matters capsule. This is a new Halloween-themed set with a cute twist to it, as it features an adorable, non-scary ghost. Dataminer @valohabercisi was reportedly the first to deliver the news.

VALORANT fans will remember the Troublemaker capsule from 2024, with its adorable black cat gun buddy. This is pretty much the same thing, except featuring a ghost instead. The ghost’s name may be ‘Shriek’, since that’s what its accessories are named after. It has a big personality, showing expressive emotions in the set’s art. Shriek can carry a little knife or stand in front of a gravestone menacingly.

VALORANT Grave Matters Capsule: All Items

In VALORANT, a capsule is a small cosmetic bundle. It has no weapon skins. This means the Grave Matters Capsule will only include accessories like gun buddies, player cards, and sprays.

That said, all three items are animated, so they change depending on your gameplay and preferences. The included pieces are:

• Shriek Gunbuddy
  • When you pull out your knife, Shriek takes out its own tiny knife too. It also puts the melee away after you’re done.
  • When you die, Shriek turns into a tombstone. (RIP to a real one.)
  • The Shriek Gunbuddy reportedly has a secret variant, depending on which Agent you play!
• Shriek Player Card
• Shriek Spray

How Much Will It Cost?

The price has not leaked, and Riot has not confirmed anything yet. Based on past offers, like the very similar Troublemaker set, the estimate is 1,145 to 2,000 VP (around 12-20 USD).

Grave Matters Capsule Release Date

The leaked release date is October 27, 2026, in North America, Brazil, and Latin America. Other regions get it on October 28, 2026. Riot has not confirmed this, but multiple sources say the Grave Matters bundle will launch with Patch 13.09. That patch also brings the new Duelist, Hush, and the start of Act 6. Watch the official Valorant channels for an announcement.

How to Buy the Bundle

According to the leak, you can only buy Grave Matters as a full bundle. This means you can’t pick out items individually from the set.

To do so, follow these steps:

• Open the Store tab. Click Store at the top of the main menu.
• Check the Featured tab. Look for the Grave Matters capsule. It should appear as a featured bundle.
• Add VP if needed. Click the VP icon in the top corner to buy Valorant Points. Kingdom Credits cannot buy bundles.
• Buy the whole capsule. Select the bundle and confirm the purchase. You’ll have to get everything in one go, since the items aren’t for sale individually.
• Equip your items. Go to Collection. Pick the ghost under Buddies, the card under Player Cards, and the spray under Sprays.
