This cosmetic puts Devil Dinosaur in a fluffy onesie that looks just like Jeff. He even has a little collar and bright pink blush. In an X.com post, Marvel Rivals writes about the cosmetic:
“I mean, Jumbo’s Devil Landshark is all right, but Van Dyne’s Jeff the Dinosaur outfit? Statistically speaking, it’s 100% cuter, AND Moon Girl approved!”
Indeed, Van Dyne Couture, Emma Frost’s favorite fashion house, designed the one-piece. The game has an upcoming Van Dyne Couture event with several additional new looks on the way, including a free Magneto skin.

According to Marvel Rivals’ announcement, Devil Dinosaur’s “Jeff the Dinosaur” skin will release on Thursday, July 16, 2026. The cosmetic will drop at 7 PM PT. Here’s a quick time zone conversion for players in other locations:
The “Jeff the Dinosaur” Devil Dinosaur skin will reportedly not be in the in-game store. Instead, it will be part of a “Pop & Win balloon event.” It’s still uncertain if event participation, or the new Devil Dinosaur skin, will cost players real money.
To buy a skin in Marvel Rivals, start by opening the Shop tab from the main menu. Here, you can browse costumes for your favorite heroes, Battle Pass exclusives, and themed bundles. Most skins are priced in Units, the game’s standard cosmetic currency. You can get Units from the in-game Battlepass or by converting Lattice at a 1-to-1 rate. Lattice itself only comes from real money purchases through your platform’s store. Marvel Rivals players can grab Units and Lattice on Steam, PlayStation, or Xbox.
Once you’ve found the skin you want, select it and confirm the purchase, and it’s instantly added to your hero’s customization menu. Legendary skins typically cost between 1,600 and 2,400 Units, so it’s worth checking if a bundle offers better value before buying Lattice separately.
Marvel Rivals Season 9 still has additional surprises in store. Players can look forward to the Egyptian-themed Thebes map arriving on July 24. Next, the Path to Doomsday PvE mode themed around Avengers: Age of Ultron drops on July 31. There are also a steady stream of movie-tied skins for characters like Spider-Man, Hulk, and Scarlet Witch. Some of these relate to Spider-Man: Brand New Day, which drops on July 31.

Once Season 9 wraps up on August 7, Season 9.5 takes over and brings The Hood, also known as Parker Robbins, into the game as the next playable hero. The Hood will probably take on the Vanguard role, though NetEase hasn’t confirmed his full kit yet. Since Season 9 already reworked the Team Up system and gave Black Widow a fresh set of abilities, Season 9.5 will likely build on those changes rather than introduce another sweeping overhaul. More details should surface as the mid-season update gets closer. This is an unusually dense stretch of updates in just a few weeks, giving players plenty of reasons to keep logging in throughout the summer.
