Back by popular demand, Galacta’s Gift is once again in Marvel Rivals for a limited time. Every player can earn a completely free skin by completing the quests and getting a Costume Coin. Here’s a quick guide.

What is the Galacta’s Gift Event in Marvel Rivals?

Galacta’s Gift is a recurring free event in Marvel Rivals that lets players earn a bonus costume just by playing matches. Yes, you heard that right: Marvel Rivals players can get a completely free skin just by participating in the Galacta’s Gift event.

The promotion first launched back in May 2025 to celebrate the game’s one year closed alpha anniversary. It’s returned multiple times since then, with players enthusiastically asking for it to become regular. Galacta’s Gift Vol. 3 is now live from September to November 2026. It’s part of Season 10: Butcher’s Blasphemy, which brought new Hero Gorr the God-Butcher to the game.

Players work through daily missions in Quick Match, Competitive, or Practice vs. AI, unlocking rewards like sprays, nameplates, and Chrono Tokens along the way. The final prize is a Costume Coin, which can be traded in the Exchange Store for one free skin out of dozens of available options.

When Does the Galacta’s Gift Event End?

Galacta’s Gift Vol. 3 kicks off on Thursday, September 24, 2026 at 2 AM PT. It will continue to run until November 13, 2026 at 1 AM PT. This means players will have about three weeks to complete the event’s quests and unlock their free items.

You can get six free rewards from Galacta’s Gift. Alongside the Costume Coin, which you can redeem for a free Marvel Rivals skin, you can get a nameplate, three sprays, and Chrono Tokens.

How to Get the Free Marvel Rivals Costume from Galacta’s Gift

Galacta’s Gift includes an Event Pass with Event Missions. Each tier of this Event Pass has a different reward. The very last reward tier (for players who collect the most XP) includes a Costume Coin, which lets players redeem one free skin.

To get the Costume Coin from Marvel Rivals’ Galacta’s Gift Vol. 3 event, you need to complete daily missions by playing Quick Match, Competitive, or Practice vs. AI. Once you finish the final mission, the coin unlocks in your rewards. From there, head to the Store and check the Exchange tab, where you can trade the coin for one costume from the event’s available selection. Keep in mind the coin only unlocks the skin itself, not the extra bundle content like emotes or sprays that sometimes come with it. Also, it won’t work for every skin: there is a set skin pool you can choose from.

• Log into Marvel Rivals during an active Galacta’s Gift event window
• Play matches in Quick Match, Competitive, or Practice vs. AI to progress through the event track
• Complete daily missions until you reach the final tier and earn your Costume Coin

• Browse the available skins eligible for the Costume Coin
• Select the skin you want and redeem it with your coin
• Equip your new costume from your hero’s collection page
