League of Legends Worlds 2026 is heading into its biggest stretch yet. The finals weekend takes center stage at Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York, closing out a tournament that started back on October 15 in Los Angeles. Fans around the world are gearing up for one last showdown. Here’s a full breakdown of the finals schedule, the venue, and the big True Damage performance everyone is waiting for.

Worlds 2026 Finals Schedule

Worlds 2026 is taking a different path than past years. The League of Legends Play-In Stage is opening the tournament from October 15 through 18 in Los Angeles. From there, teams move into Swiss Stage play across two blocks, October 23 to 26 and October 28 to 31, both hosted in Allen, Texas.

The next Knockout Stage runs from November 3 to 8. Quarterfinals play out from November 3 to 6, followed by semifinals on November 7 and 8. Both rounds use a best of five format, so every match carries serious weight.

So, to recap:

  • Play-Ins: October 15-18
  • Swiss Stage: October 23-31
  • Knockout Stage: November 3-8
  • Grand Final: November 14

Once the semifinals wrap up, the tournament shifts to New York for the final chapter. The Grand Final lands on November 14 at Barclays Center in Brooklyn, home to the NBA’s Brooklyn Nets. This marks the first time Worlds has returned to New York since 2022, and it closes out a season that spanned all across the U.S.

This year’s finals weekend carries extra weight thanks to a major music reveal. True Damage, Riot Games’ virtual hip hop group, is making its first comeback in seven years. The group last released music back in 2019 with “GIANTS,” and now they’re back with a brand new track called “Know My Name.”

The song features real world artists SOYEON of i-dle returning to voice Akali, along with Coco Jones stepping in as Senna, Vic Mensa taking on Ekko, and Sofía Reyes performing as Qiyana. “Know My Name” is launching on October 8 across streaming platforms, alongside a music video centered on Faker and T1’s historic three-peat run.

True Damage will perform the anthem live during the Worlds 2026 Opening Ceremony, presented by Mastercard, on November 14 at Barclays Center. This marks the first time one of Riot’s virtual artists has taken on Worlds anthem duties, making it a true milestone moment for League’s growing music universe.

Why This Finals Weekend Matters

Worlds 2026 brings plenty of storylines into its final stretch. T1 enters as the three time defending champion, with Faker chasing an unprecedented fourth straight title. Karmine Corp finally breaks through to their first ever Worlds appearance, giving EMEA renewed hope after years of near misses. Team Secret Whales have just arrived fresh off a perfect LCP season, too, looking to continue their momentum. The tournament itself spans three U.S. cities, Los Angeles, Texas, and Brooklyn, closing with True Damage’s long awaited comeback performance at the Grand Final.

Worlds 2026 is bringing League nostalgia and the established T1 dynasty together with fresh talent and unexpected plot twists, and it promises one of the most compelling championships yet.
