Speculation began about the partnership after Lil Wayne posted a mysterious “Where we droppin?” message on his Instagram. That teaser, paired with growing leaks, confirmed what fans had been hoping for. Wayne has long been vocal about his love for the game. Fortnite also quipped: “Weezy F Baby and the F is for Fortnite.”

Fortnite x Lil Wayne: Collab Release Date

The Fortnite x Lil Wayne Icon Series collab will release on Saturday, September 12, 2026. Exact release times will vary depending on the player’s location and server region.

It arrives during Chapter 7 Season 4. This Fortnite Season, titled ‘OVERRIDE,’ has a classic gaming theme and includes other crossovers with Sonic, Persona, and other major franchises.

How to Get the Lil Wayne Fortnite Skins

Once they go live, Fortnite’s Lil Wayne skins will appear in the Item Shop. Since they’re premium items, players have to purchase them with V-Bucks. You can buy more V-Bucks with real-world currency if you don’t have enough.
