Fortnite’s Chapter 7 mini-season, Treasure Hunters, is right around the corner, and it’s confirmed to bring the much-anticipated Pirate Miku and Kasane Teto collaboration with it. Here’s what we know so far about the upcoming skin collection, including its release date, price, and complete bundle contents.

Official teasers confirm the Fortnite x Pirate Miku collaboration

On October 23, 2026, TwinDrill (the rights holder for Kasane Teto) and the official Hatsune Miku account released animated Fortnite teasers. These include copyright credits for Epic Games, Crypton Future Media, and TwinDrill.

According to the reveal, the title is getting two new Vocaloid-themed skins soon. Pirate Miku and Kasane Teto are the next characters to join the Fortnite shop.

In the Teto trailer, she appears in her classic look with red, drill-shaped hair. She raises a pirate flag that shows both her face and Miku’s side by side.

In the Miku announcement, the iconic Vocaloid character wears a full pirate captain outfit with a hat, coat, and boots. She says it is “time for an outfit change.”

Reliable Fortnite leakers HYPEX and ShiinaBR have also shared first-look renders and in-game style images of both characters.

Miku is not new to Fortnite. She first arrived through Festival Season 7 and has had multiple outfits, including a Neko (cat-themed) version. Pirate Miku continues that presence. Some reports say the pirate design draws inspiration from her earlier appearances in the Project Diva games rather than being invented only for Fortnite.

Kasane Teto, on the other hand, is making her official debut in the game. She originally started out as a fan-made character, eventually growing enough popularity to become a real virtual star in her own right.

Pirate Miku Fortnite Skin Release date

The Treasure Hunters mini-season starts on November 1, 2026. Epic has not announced when exactly the cosmetics will become available. They are widely expected to arrive with the mini-season start or shortly after it, in line with the v43.00 update.

Price and how to buy

As of late October 2026, Epic has not announced V-Bucks (Fortnite’s in-game currency) prices or the full contents of the bundles. However, based on standard Fortnite collaboration pricing models (such as previous Hatsune Miku bundles) and mini-season trends, expected pricing spans these ranges:

  • Outfit / Skin (Individual): 1,500 V-Bucks (typical for standard icon/series outfits with back bling and alternate styles)
  • Full Bundle (Outfit + Back Bling + Emotes / Pickaxes / Jam Tracks): Around 3,000 to 3,200 V-Bucks (discounted from individual items)
  • Individual Emotes / Jam Tracks: 500 V-Bucks each
  • Pickaxes / Instruments: 800 V-Bucks each

Collaboration characters like these are most often sold in the Item Shop as part of the Icon Series. Another possibility is that they appear in a Music Pass or Battle Pass, given Miku’s earlier history with Fortnite Festival.

Possible skins and extra items

Pirate Miku is currently shown as a single pirate captain look. Based on past collaborations with virtual singers, it is speculated that Kasane Teto may get more than one style or outfit variant.

While Epic Games has not finalized the precise individual cosmetic attachments, reliable data-mined listings and trends point to the following set inclusions:

  • Back Blings & Pickaxes: Dual-purpose instruments and props (similar to past sets like Hatsune’s Mic-u or custom guitar/keytar items that function as both harvesting tools and back accessories)
  • Festival Jam Tracks: The crossover coincides with dedicated Jam Tracks. Rumored tracks for the event pool include community staples such as:
    • “Miku” by Anamanaguchi
    • “World Is Mine” and “Melt” by ryo/supercell
    • “Daisy 2.0” by Ashnikko
    • “M@GICAL☆CURE! LOVE SHOT!” by SAWTOWNE

The Fortnite Treasure Hunters launch set for November 1, 2026, so more details on release timing, prices, and bundle contents should come from Epic Games around then. Until Epic confirms them, anything beyond the teaser footage and the launch date should be treated as expectation rather than fact.
