Jimpphat is widely considered one of Counter-Strike’s most promising young prodigies. After three years at MOUZ, the organization has just announced his departure, and the community is speculating where he will go next. Here’s everything we know.

MOUZ Announces Jimpphat is Leaving

On July 2, 2026, German esports org MOUZ announced that Jimi “Jimpphat” Salo is leaving its Counter-Strike roster. In an X.com post, the team listed his accomplishments and wrote:

It was a pleasure to watch you grow into the player, teammate, and young man you have become today ❤️ Hyvästi Jimi, jatka jälkesi jättämistä.”

The Esports Context

Notably, Jimpphat has been part of MOUZ for three years. His esports career began in 2019, so he has over 5 years of pro experience, but is most recognizable for his time on the team. Jimpphat is known as one of Counter-Strike’s younger prodigies: he started playing competitively at just 12 years old and earned an HLTV Top 20 status at just 17. Alongside fellow younger players like donk, this new wave of talent has been very present as the game’s esports circuit evolves.

In addition, Jimpphat has claimed two ESL Pro League Season 1st place trophies. He has participated in four Major main events, and plenty of IEM and BLAST Open tournaments. Within a short time, he solidified himself as part of MOUZ’s core roster, so fans of the org are sentimental seeing him go.

Is Jimpphat Joining BC Game?

So far, Jimpphat hasn’t commented on what’s next after the move. He did repost MOUZ’s goodbye message, adding some heart emojis to show his gratitude.

There is plenty of speculation that Jimpphat could be joining EMEA org BC Game’s roster. The already stacked setup, which includes Senzu, s1mple, Magisk, and electroNic, needs a fifth player. Originally, the community thought former NaVi lurker jL could take up the spot, since he was released shortly before BC Game made a cryptic post. However, the organization confirmed jL was not its fifth, saying “trust us… we’re cooking.”

After MOUZ‘s announcement, BC Game added more fuel to the fire with a post that may tease Jimpphat’s arrival. The org reposted a community member’s message asking, “Jimpphat to what team?”

It’s possible BC Game is just messing with fans, but the statement may carry some real weight. It usually takes at least a few hours after roster departures for new team announcements to finalize. Stay tuned for updates as the situation develops.
