After Global Esports released head coach FrosT last week, industry insiders made some viral claims about team tension that sparked community conversation. Now, FrosT has reportedly found a new team to call home. Here’s everything we know.
Right after VALORANT Masters London wrapped up, word started spreading that Global Esports was about to part ways with head coach Hector “FrosT” Rosario, and FrosT himself seemed to confirm it on June 24, 2026 by scrubbing the org from his X bio, telling one fan he’d “removed everyone.”

Two days later, Global Esports CEO Rushindra Sinha confirmed in an interview that FrosT was out and that papers had already been filed with Riot. However, Sinha also praised him as a brilliant coach who delivered results the team hadn’t seen before and expressed hope they might work together again someday.
The move raised eyebrows, given how much FrosT had done for the org. After joining GE in December 2025, he quickly led them to a first-place finish at the Esports World Cup Pacific Qualifier and a spot at Masters London. The latter was the team’s first-ever VCT Masters event. FrosT was not quiet about the move: he reposted a comment on June 27 from Mind Body Esports’ Edward Cleland that criticized how Sinha framed the split, arguing the statement should have been more respectful and alluding to pushback from the team.
frost -was fired -is not coming back for split 2 -player decision and certain coaching staff member decision -not management decision -he did not have any offers prior to being let go, now he does other stuff -ac vladkor might stay dont know -players was pushing for platoon – management liked it for the ‘storyline’ -platoon was never ac, always data analyst

Then on June 29, 2026, fresh details surfaced. Industry insider @ariVLRNT, who runs @vctscrims and has ties to several key VCT figures, claimed FrosT’s firing actually came down to friction with players PatMen and Platoon rather than management. Ari called it a “player decision and certain coaching staff member decision.”
Ari went on to allege that PatMen, who formerly played on Paper Rex, was part of the main push to cut FrosT. They also claimed that Assistant Coach Platoon then offered to step into the head coach role himself, while also noting that Platoon had never actually held the assistant coach title and was actually a data analyst. These claims gained weight after Ari stated assistant coach Vladimir “vladk0r” Kornev was also on his way out of the org, which turned out to be true.
On June 30, FrosT reposted several reports of Ari’s statements. He also reposted comments critical of GE, with one stating “Imagine being this soft you decide to replace one of the best coaches in the world because he probably yelled at you for doing dumb sh– and costing rounds.”
In addition to the team tension, rival Indian org Revenant XSpark had reportedly been in talks to buy Global Esports for its VCT slot. A deal like that would likely mean merging rosters and shaking up the coaching staff regardless of any personal drama.

IT IS CONFIRMED: Frost 🇺🇸 to FULL SENSE 🇹🇭 A REUNION WITH TALON 🇹🇭
— Rocket (@RocketBullets) June 26, 2026
After FrosT was cut from GE, CEO Rushindra Sinha claimed he was “joining another team soon” in an interview. Just three days later, reports from several investigative outlets are claiming FrosT will now represent Full Sense. The news arises from Tanmay Mhatre of Sheep Esports.
Full Sense is a Thai VALORANT org located in the VCT’s Asia-Pacific (APAC) region. Notably, this would place FrosT in the same region as his former teammates. In addition, Full Sense is competing in VCT Stage 2 and will actually play against Global Esports in a direct matchup. The two teams are in the same Group Stage cluster, Group Alpha, together. Is this a revenge arc in the making?
FrosT has not yet commented on the move. Stay tuned for updates as the situation evolves.
