NaVi CyvOph Steps Out of VCT, Kolosha Stands In

NaVi VALORANT is making some last-minute roster changes as CyvOph takes a hiatus from the VCT sphere. Academy team player Kolosha will step up to stand in. Here’s everything we know.

NaVi Announces CyvOph Will Step Out of VCT 2026

Ukrainian team Natus Vincere (NaVi) has already made waves in the FPS world with Counter-Strike. Since 2021, VALORANT has become one of their next focuses. NaVi’s roster is currently sitting in Tier 1 VCT play, and VCT EMEA Stage 2 is well underway. The team is in intense competition, and the stakes are high since a Champions Shanghai 2026 slot is on the line.

On August 11, midway through the tournament, NaVi announced that core roster member Clément “CyvOph” Millard “will miss the remainder of the current VCT season.” The haitus stems from unforeseen family issues; CyvOph will leave competition to support his relatives.

In an X.com post, NaVi stated, “We fully support CyvOph and wish him all the best during this time.”

CyvOph commented about the move:

The pro has been active in the VALORANT scene since the game’s launch, formerly representing Team Vitality. He also spent time on loan with Joblife, a VALORANT Challengers team that has now entered the VCT EMEA Play-Ins. CyvOph’s Agent pool is notably diverse; he is capable on every role.

Kolosha Will Join as a Stand-In

Herman “Kolosha” Skrypka will fill in for CyvOph while he’s gone. The young Ukrainian player has served NaVi’s Juniors academy team for about four months, joining in April. Previously, he played for Boars Gaming in VALORANT Challengers. Kolosha is a Duelist main, and he usually runs Phoenix or Neon. However, he can also flex Sentinel (with Sage and Chamber) and Controller (with Harbor). He has a similar main Agent pool to CyvOph, but the selection appears more limited.

NaVi’s VCT EMEA Experience So Far

NaVi came into 2026 running a fully rebuilt Valorant roster, and VCT EMEA has been the first real test of how well that new lineup fits together. Stage 2 is also the main pathway for the lineup’s potential entry to Champions, since the top team from this phase will earn a slot. Results in the Group Stage have been rocky, with NaVi bouncing between wins and losses against teams like BBL, PCIFIC, and Gentle Mates. The squad was still finding its rhythm early on.

Things got tougher in the Play-Ins. The stage dealt NaVi a difficult start, immediately dropping them to the lower bracket after a 2:1 loss to Joblife. NaVi is now fighting through their new path, and will have to defeat Team Heretics on August 12 just to keep their Champions dream alive. The org is one of EMEA’s stronger opponents, and the reigning Stage 1 champions.

Losing a core roster member this deep into the VCT season is never easy. For NaVi, the change will likely be more risky due to the team’s inconsistent performance. The odds aren’t looking great for a Champions qualification, but anything can happen.
