Evil Geniuses have released Corbin “c0m” Lee and Anthony “Okeanos” Nguyen. The move puts c0m and Okeanos back on the free-agent market. The homecoming never got off the ground. EG had signed c0m to run the roster he won a title with back in 2023. However, the org benched both players two months into the season. Then, on 6 July, it made the split official, 10 days before VCT Americas Stage 2.
EG finished top eight at Kickoff. After that, they slid backwards through Stage 1 and lost four weeks in a row. Before the final group game against KRÜ, the org benched c0m and Okeanos. In their place, academy prospects Javan “zerona” Varela and Jake “Paincakes” Hass took the stage. Neither veteran played a map for the main roster again. Two months later, the release made the call permanent.
Okeanos joined LEVIATÁN in May 2025, signed alongside current world champion Eduardo “Sato” Kenzo Nagahama Sato. There, he teamed with c0m, who was already on the roster. The pair then ran the EWC Americas Qualifier and VCT Americas Stage 2 together. However, the results stayed middling, and their season ended against NRG. LEVIATÁN let them go that October. Soon after, EG brought them in for its 2026 rebuild.
With no matches to play, benched pros usually keep streaming ranked. Meanwhile, fans watch the loadouts as closely as the aim. A clean Valorant knife is often the piece everyone asks about. So whenever roster news drops, viewers head back in to check who runs what.
