Have you ever wondered which Marvel Rivals Heroes have the most toxic players? Well, wonder no longer: new data has arrived, revealing the top 5 Heroes with the most comm bans. Here’s a recap.
Marvel Rivals has a vast variety of players. In a single lobby, you might interact with:
However, as with every game, there are also some… less positive experiences. On August 21, 2026, stat tracking site Rivals Data revealed the game‘s top 5 most toxic Heroes, based on abusive communication ban percentages. It’s important to note that this data is from a third-party platform, and not the official game.
Here’s a shocker: all of these Heroes are Duelists / DPS. In addition, most of them are dive comp characters. Some have already gained a reputation, but others are more unexpected. Let’s dive into a recap.
Vigilante lawyer Daredevil clocks in as the number one most toxic Marvel Rivals hero of 2026, with a nearly 10% comm ban rate. It seems the character’s concept of blind justice does not apply to the game’s voice chat, where his mains are known to drop some truly heinous wordsmithing. Notably, one of Matt Murdock’s in-game abilities is called ‘Infernal Fury’: it seems like players are living up to the name.
Black Cat is the #2 most-banned hero for abusive communications according to rivalsdata.com. At a nearly 9% comm ban rate, her elegance and poise can hide some ruthless personalities. This duelist has claws, but her words can bite too!
Maybe this has something to do with her playstyle: Black Cat rewards gamers who make high-risk, on-a-whim decisions, dipping in and out of engagements with her dash. You need self-confidence to do that. Sometimes, this self-confidence can blur the line with ego.

Any Marvel Rivals player will know the infamous Zazza lore. ‘Getting Zazza’d’ is now a verb in the game’s vocabulary, referring to situations where a player just won’t swap off a character despite being so bad at it that they throw the game for everyone else. Of course, Black Widow was the Hero of choice in this situation, where young streamer Kingsman lost out on tournament money that could have significantly impacted his career. A Black Widow rework (which Zazza commented on) aimed to improve her team impact, but it seems to have done little for her team spirit.
It turns out Black Widow mains’ toxicity may go beyond previous expectations, as she is reportedly the third most-banned hero for voice chat infractions at around an 8.87% rate.
Elsa Bloodstone is a relatively newer hero, a monster hunter who quickly bursts opponents to death. Her blasters and shotguns pack a lot of damage… and apparently, so do her words. Rivals Data claims she has an 8.60% slice of the comm ban rate. It’s time to ask the real question here… is Elsa actually the monster she should be hunting?
This will come as a surprise to absolutely no one, but yes, Black Panther is on the most-comm-banned hero list at around 8%. Marvel Rivals veterans will remember how this character was absolutely busted upon launch, completely terrorizing lobbies. At one point, he could nearly infinitely chain his combos to remain almost untargetable and invincible.
Black Panther is a hero that provides a crazy dopamine rush to play, and his impact seems to snowball throughout the match if you play him well. He can wreak havoc on the enemy team’s mental… but apparently, he can also have this effect on his teammates. Oops!
