Fortnite Officially Reveals Cyberpunk Lucy Skin
We’ve known for several weeks that a Fortnite x Cyberpunk Edgerunners collab appears to be in the works, but Epic Games hasn’t officially confirmed a Lucy skin reveal until today. The rumors kicked off after Fortnite launched Chapter 7 Season 4, nicknamed Override, back in August 2026. This season’s theme includes classic games hacking into Fortnite’s world, already bringing crossovers with other well-known brands like Persona, Kingdom Hearts, Sonic, and Tetris. Cyberpunk Edgerunners is the next big name joining that lineup, and leaks pointed to weapons and cosmetics inspired by the beloved Netflix anime.
What’s in the Fortnite x Cyberpunk Edgerunners Collab?
On September 12, 2026, Cyberpunk Edgerunners’ official account revealed one of the Fortnite collab’s most anticipated skins: fan-favorite character Lucy will arrive to the game soon.
“Seriously need to upgrade your Override security, Fortnite,” the account captioned the post. “Our netrunner told us getting past it was child’s play… She’s available for a consult if you’d like to upgrade. See you soon?”
Lucy, full name Lucyna, is one of the most memorable characters from Cyberpunk Edgerunners. She’s known as a skilled netrunner with a rebellious streak, and fans loved her romance dynamic with David Martinez. Her iconic pastel rainbow hair, cropped white jacket, and sleek netrunner outfit are all accurate in the Fortnite design. Since Fortnite has leaned hard into anime and gaming crossovers this season, a Lucy skin feels like a natural fit.
Dataminers have found early hints of Edgerunners themed weapons in the game, including a dual handed rifle based on Rebecca’s guns, a submachine gun, and a Monowire item that blends the swinging feel of the Grapple Glove with the melee style of the Grapple Blade. The Lucy video seems to confirm that Rebecca’s guns are definitely arriving in Season 4, possibly alongside those other weapon options.

The Fortnite community is hyped for Lucy’s skin release, especially because Cyberpunk Edgerunners’ next season is releasing soon. The series is following up on its 2022 debut with a Season 2, which launches on October 20, 2026.
Cyberpunk: Edgerunners Season 2 skips David Martinez’s story entirely and drops viewers into a brand new adventure. It’s still set in Night City, though, providing a common thread to continue the universe. The ten episode season follows four new characters, all becoming entangled with the city’s crime underworld. So far, the team has stated the tone will be darker than Season 1, and it’ll also be grittier. Even without David, Night City’s chaos never really stops.

We don’t know the release date for Lucy’s Fortnite skin yet. However, rumor has it she could arrive to the in-game shop sometime around Thursday, September 17, which is when the next Fortnite Patch is scheduled.
