Caps Hall of Legends: Every Skin, Price and Date for the 2026 Event

Riot has pulled the covers off the Caps Hall of Legends collection. The skins landed on 24 August alongside a trailer framing the G2 mid laner as a beacon of hope, a week after his induction was confirmed. Rasmus “Caps” Winther becomes the third player honoured, after Faker in 2024 and Uzi in 2025, and the first from the West.

The event runs from 10 September to 20 October and ships with Patch 26.18. Tristana carries the premium skin. Orianna comes with the pass.

One detail separates Caps’ induction from the two before it, and it has nothing to do with price.

Caps Might Actually Wear His Own Skin on Stage

Faker refused to. When he picked Ahri in an LCK Summer Split match against Kwangdong Freecs in 2024, the first time he had played her since his own skin released, he loaded in on the base version. Asked about it afterwards, he explained that he had simply been focused on the game, that he had never used a skin before, and that he hoped fans would use it plenty.

That is not a one-off. Faker has worn a skin on stage a handful of times across his entire career, the SKT Ryze skin at the 2016 Worlds final being the exception people still cite. Uzi retired, so the question never came up for him at all.

Caps is different on both counts. He still competes, he has no history of refusing skins, and the collection arrives on 10 September with playoffs season underway. Nothing prevents him from locking Tristana or Orianna with his own cosmetics on.

Pros do tend to avoid skins that alter ability silhouettes, and Immortalized Legend Tristana changes a great deal. Even so, this is the first time the question is genuinely open.

What Skins Are in the Caps Hall of Legends Collection?

Four in total, across two champions:

• Risen Legend Orianna, plus an event chroma, both earned through the pass
• Risen Legend Tristana, the entry-level premium skin
• Immortalized Legend Tristana, the headline piece
• Signature Immortalized Legend Tristana, the top tier

Immortalized Legend Tristana is where the work went. It carries three Mechanical Genius forms with their own voice lines, an enhanced Rocket Jump form, a Rapid Fire HUD, a champion finisher, a structure finisher and custom announcer visuals. The skin evolves through the match rather than staying fixed.

The Signature version adds Caps’ signature move to both Tristana and Orianna on Ctrl+5, along with exclusive finishers, splash arts, borders and Paragon chromas.

Why Tristana and Not Sylas or Syndra?

This argument started the moment the PBE leak surfaced, and it has not settled.

Caps built his reputation on a wide mid lane pool, and most fans associate him with LeBlanc, Akali, Sylas and Syndra rather than a marksman. LeBlanc was never really available, since Faker’s collection already includes a Risen Legend LeBlanc and Riot has good reason to keep each inductee’s set distinct.

Tristana holds up better than the first reaction suggested. She sits in both mid and bot lane, mirroring Caps’ own career, and playing a marksman as a solo laner became part of what defined him. As a career summary it works. As a fan-favourite pick it does not, and that gap is what people are reacting to.

How Much Does the Caps Hall of Legends Collection Cost?

Three tiers, plus the pass:

Now put that next to the previous two years. Faker’s Signature bundle ran 59,260 RP and his Immortalized tier 32,430 RP. Uzi’s Signature bundle ran 58,865 RP. Caps’ matches Uzi’s exactly.

That is the real story in the pricing. Faker’s induction triggered one of the loudest backlashes League has seen, complete with players organising mass Ahri bans in protest. Two years later the top tier has moved by under 400 RP, because the bundles sold regardless.

Dollar conversions vary between outlets from roughly $430 to $450 depending on which RP packs you buy, so treat RP as the real number.

What Is in the Hall of Legends Pass?

The 1,950 RP pass runs 100 levels and covers what most players will actually end up owning:

• Risen Legend Orianna and its event chroma
• 125 Mythic Essence
• 11 orbs
• Caps-themed icons and emotes
• A ward skin and a banner
• Three existing skins picked by Caps: Freljord Taliyah, Elderwood LeBlanc and Empyrean Akali

Those three picks deserve a second look, because they cover the champions people expected to headline the collection. Caps got his LeBlanc and Akali into the event after all, just not as new skins.

The ward is the detail that will get shared around. It is called the Unkillable Demon Cactus Ward, referencing the cactus Caps gave Faker before Worlds 2023.

When Does the Caps Hall of Legends Event Start and End?

The event opens on Wednesday 10 September at 11:00 AM Pacific and closes on 20 October at 11:59 PM Pacific. Pass missions stop progressing on 19 October, leaving one final day to buy the pass or any collection before everything retires.

Six weeks is a generous window. There is no reason to rush a purchase on day one.

Riot is also producing an Immortalized Legend Tristana figure, with pre-orders opening on 10 September. Pricing has not been announced.

Should You Buy Anything?

The pass is the easy call. For 1,950 RP you get 125 Mythic Essence, three skins Caps chose himself, and a full Orianna skin with a chroma. Measured against a standard event pass, that is good value.

Everything above it depends on how much Tristana matters to you. Moving from Risen Legend at 5,035 RP to Immortalized Legend at 32,035 RP costs roughly six times as much, and it buys transformations and effects most opponents will never register. The Signature tier then nearly doubles that again for a Ctrl+5 emote and cosmetic extras.

If you do not play Tristana, the pass covers everything worth having.
